  1. I do not know for US, but you can find that info in the PET.
  2. A brake fluid change, inclusive clutch, will take approx. 1 litre of fluid. Tiptronic and manual use the same BRAKE system with a "few drops less" fluid contents for the Tiptronic because absence of clutch.
  3. Are the CD's original ones ? If not, do the check with originals to exclude potentially aftermarket (burned) CD errors.
  4. Aftermarket connector?? Porsche wiring is equipment/option specific, you should have to go in to the existing wiring IMHO.
  5. Post #7 Take a look on this discussion to have a larger overview about P 0021.
  6. It's better to remove the seat and take a closer look what exactly is happen, there is no room under the seat in lowest possition to fix it.
  7. Cyl. # 1 is on the oil filler cap (where # 4 is on the pic.), - cyl. # 5 is on the opposite side (where # 8 is on the pic.) Hope it helps.

  9. This is discussed before here, please do a search, it have to do with the switch, build in the top lock unit, where the top handle hook sits with the top in closed (up) possition. Window control think that the hook is unlocked to open the top and will drop the windows spontaneously.
  10. Check also if the carpet trim, bottom of the door inner trim, stays dry, water can also enter inside the car by a cracked/torn inner door membrane or clogged door drains.
  11. Believe it or not, Porsche's equipped with the standard wheels have a better drivability, comfort and are less fatigue on PUBLIC ROADS under all circumstances since the SC series (ROW suspension). Besides much less expensive.
  12. You are correct, a PST2 cant program/reset 987/997 and later Cayenne.
  13. Since the LED's are lesser in WATTAGE than conventional bulbs, the control box cant reach the programmed values. Replace the LED's with original bulbs to avoid this kind of problems.
  14. It's the black part with the electric connector, left upper side of the throttle body. ;)
  15. That's strange, it's a part of the throttle body (bolted on with two small bolts) and delivered as a unit. The part is approx. square and black.
  16. The black plastic unit on the throttle body left side, as shown in the pic. you have posted above.
  17. The seat can stay in place, remove the plastic trim under the front side of the seat, remove the left and right side bolt which hold the seat chassis to the car floor, lift the front of the seat up and pull backwards. Remove the battery cover and battery.
  18. The engine can stay in place to replace the metal tube, but it's pretty hard work (LHD cars)
  19. If the car is parked with the ignition on (engine not running), the message appears on the dash after a certain time (depends the actual battery condition) and means that the possible power users will cut off automatically, to prevent power failure.
  20. djomlas Have you already removed and cleaned the idle valve on the left side of the throttle body? (non E-gas system, as showed on your pic.)
  21. If you talking about the drains near the battery, don't worry about that, they have nothing to do with your problem, the drain holes are above the fuel tank=outside of the car, as long the holes are free, no problem. As mentioned in my earlier post, remove the A-pillar inside trim to check the sun roof drain tubes, they are very brittle.
  22. Original Porsche prolonged warranty cover all mechanical and electronic failures, unfortunately too late in your case. Porsche factory rebuild engines have all the latest updates as mentioned in your post.
  23. I would bleed the clutch to start with and do a test, perhaps the result will be better.
  24. The bleeder screw is in most cases the culprit, but to find that 100% out, you should remove the bleeder screw and take a closer look.
  25. The alarm control box is located under the driver seat, remove the seat and the underlying control box, check the fuse on the rear side of the box. Check the fuses in the fuse box in first place.
