  2. The message can only reset with the PIWIS or similar tool, but an OPC is able to delete the message in the cars program with the PIWIS, if you wish.
  3. A guide is not really necessary, it's a plug and play system. Take off the steering wheel and the cover under the steering column, fit the stalk in place with the two screws - fit the new cover and the steering wheel - program DME and GATEWAY. The short cable is only for the early models (LHD). Your OPC can find all information's in PPN or TB

  5. Hi There are no problems for European 987 and 997 to retrofit cruise control. All you need are: 1 stalk, 1 cover ( under ) steering column, 1 short electric cable ( only for the very first models ) and 2 screws for the fixation of the stalk. Programming with PIWIS tester is needed, max. labour time 0 h 30. Piece of cake.

  8. Latest cd version was available at december 2006 in the OPC shop packet as new year gift.
  9. First of all you need a GOOD battery, with a voltmeter on the battery between + and - , engine running approx. 13, 50 - 14,50 volt. I think that the battery is dead already, if the car is only used in the week-ends , it is advisable to have a charger with low Amps. to put in to the cig.lighter ( Optimate or similar make ). You can leave the charger on for months if you like. It is as much possible that the battery lost power - alarm system or control boxes.
  10. Hi There is a cd version update already for PCM 2. A set of 5 cd replace the older 3 cd version, the installation cd is inclusive, but not always necessary. It depends on the PCM 2 specifications, an OPC is qualified to install. Regards
  11. If you look between the oil filler tube and the alternator, you can see his back end. Use a lamp he is on the other side of the engine.
  12. Hi It's a 10 AMP fuse. I hope for you that all the other systems are OK. Success
  13. There is a fuse on the back of the PCM, don't forget it.
  14. Unlock the unit with the 5 mm key and turn back approx. 1/8 turn to be sure that the lock not hitch. Take an assistant on the front of the car to pull or catch the unit, while pushing on the back of the unit. I hope its helps.
  15. Hi Sorry for my late response, yes you can see the rear end of the unit. Success
  16. Hi The easiest way is go to an O.P.C., they only have the authorisation for the up dates.
  17. Hi I'm agree with " rushrevisited " go to an O.P.C. for a second opinion. Success
  18. Remove the wheel liner and push the headlight out.
  19. Hi rockymount The canister fixation contains: 1x nut and 2x rubber bush on the opposite side, you have to pull the canister to the front of the car. The tension on the rubbers is high.
  20. Hi European canisters are bolt on and are equipped with a bracket and rubber bushes you have to push in ( it is difficult for my to explain in English ) I hope it's helps.
  21. Hi Dismount: rear wheels rear bumper shell rear bumper ( alum. ) inter coolers + tubing heat shields exhaust Than you god the turbo's right before you Dismount the turbo's Success
  22. The drive in a 997 is indeed a DVD for the navigation, mounted in the trunk. I have no idea if that works without a modification.
  23. I never heard this on European types, there is a lock up valve between the filler neck and the canister, but during the years the canister can be saturated by the vapors. I now that the US types are different at this point. To remove the canister, build out the right front wheel well, and you have the canister right under the filler neck with a lot of connectors and tubes. succes
