  1. You can do it with a helper, on your own is difficult. Pull the telescopic tube out with 2 flat screwdrivers, there is a strong resistance by a build in spring Let the helper hold the telescopic tube as close as possible to the headlight while you remove the rest of the nozle Push the new nozle/cover combination on the telescope
  2. Castrol SRF is perfect, recommend in Cayman FIA GT4 Euro races.
  3. Eleminate ( bridge over ) the switch with a wire.
  4. Make a bridge around the switch and trey again. Perhaps the switch is faulty.
  5. This is exactly what i trey to say both keys in a V angel and pinch together.
  6. Take a flat 13mm key for the adjusting nut, a ring 13mm key for the locking nut. Install both keys in this way that you can grab both keys with your right hand easley. Grab with your left hand your right hand ( as you will cracked a nut ) and pinch both keys together in the right direction - to loose. Attention this is not the park brake adjuster but the park brake CABLE adjuster. Park brake adjustment is located in the rear brake rotors. Hope it helps
  7. Same for Sport Chrono. If it is a Sport Chrono +, the dealer have to order a E-pass with the enable code for reprogramming. You can go to the nearest dealer if you want.
  8. The cruise control is connected directly with the DME, PCM takes the speed signal elsewhere, perhaps a renewed wake up procedure ( used vehicle handover ) can help you out. It happens that some control boxes get asleep after disconnect the battery.
  9. This happen when a elastic cross connection between the exterior and interior textile lining of the convertible hood is snapped off or was, you can see the elastic cross with the hood half open. The exterior textile will come over the side rails when closing and takes a higher position when fully open and hit the locking mechanism while driving by friction. Could be a issue that is already fixed, just take a look. Renew the lock cover when damaged. Try to find a company to repair the textile ( some needlework ? )
  10. Right side in driving direction is bank 1.
  11. I know drivers how have seen all colors of the rainbow.
  12. The seats hit the fixation bolts now. You have passed the safety travel already.
  13. The passenger power window motor/control box is faulty, it will happen again. Replace the motor/control box if it happens.
  14. Yes, if the car is equipped with heated seats, i cant imagine a Turbo without. The mean reason is of course VW.
  15. Cyl. 1 in TDC at the end of the compression stroke
  16. Sure that the leak is not coming from the spark plug pipes? Remove the pipes Remove both rubber tabs on the end of the camshafts You can see the circular shaft ends now - each shaft have a notch which is out of the center - there is a special tool to keep the shafts in line, but you can do it without if you are careful, the covers are at the same time the half of the bearing shells Turn the crankshaft till the notches on the camshafts are in line with cyl. 1 in TDC ( cyl. 1 is the cyl. just behind the water pump ) this is a critical point, in any other possition the shafts can fall out without the special tool. Remove the cover bolts Remove the cover gently Clean the cover and the contact area on the cyl. head intensive ( have to be dry and free of oil ) Use the silicone sold by the dealer, new spark plug pipes and two new tabs for the shafts covering Reinstall in revers order Success.
  17. Stylish and elegant in Atlas grey, congrats.
  18. Don't forget to change the setting with PIWIS, the heating is disabled with a wooden wheel.
  19. The wiring is there, just change and connect the wheel. Give attention to the color, the airbag in the middle is a separate part, the rim and the airbag must have the same color.
  20. In driving direction: cyl. 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 = bank 1 cyl. 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 = bank 2 You have to change all the coils to be sure, they will cracked sooner or later. Buy the original spark plugs, they are very good and without issues.
  21. The only position to remove the key is the P position, there is no pass in the other positions, the electric lock stays on.
  22. Check the axle boots on the transmission sides if it grease, check the transmission seals left and right if it oil especially in combination with Tiptronic.
  23. I mean 2006 Cayenne, 2007 doesnt exist. Sorry!!
  24. DFI engine Cayenne ( 08 ) have a slight oil consumption something between 07 Cayenne and Cayenne Turbo. Fill up the engine next service with 5w - 50 Mobil 1, it will decrease the oil consumption.
  25. Yes or cracket filling pipe or .....
