  1. Boxster bank 1 Right side 996 bank 1 left side Sensor 1 before catal.
  2. Have you disconnected the battery during the installation ? You need a diagnostic tool to reset the airbag light in this case.
  3. Ok i know what you mean, the inside contra plate small plastic hooks are broken. Door locks and outside handles are difficult on Cayenne, you need the tech. bul., illustrations and knowledge. There is a big change that you can't open the doors after reinstalling, not on the inside and not on the outside, than you got a problem.
  4. A blown fuse is possible, check the fuses on the foot area left side and the fuse on the rear side of the alarm control box located under the left seat ( for LHD cars ). Look also if the led is blinking in the remote when the lock/unlock button is activated.
  5. You need a long 5mm Allen key to adjust, a 5mm hexagon key to remove the headlight ( to replace a burn out bulb )
  6. Probably the remote system in sleeping mode, after approx. 6 days the system is cut out automatically. Enter the key in the ignition lock and turn the key to the ignition on possition while pushing the lock/unlock button on the remote control for a few seconds. Try to lock/unlock the door with the remote. Rapport back for follow up.
  7. Which back part, inside or outside ? The factory warranty covers the car during 2 years, contact the dealer in this case.
  8. Only Cayenne's with air suspension have a warning light for suspension issues, steel springs dont.
  9. Check the shift cable, pull of the connector on the gearbox and try to pull the cable out, the cable is broken when he comes out.
  10. Check the power steering fluid level to start with.
  11. Phillipe I cant PM you, Change your settings.
  12. When you open the key in the possition to go in the ignition lock, but not in the end possition - approx. half way, you can see at the end of the key blade just in the pivot part a very small pin, remove the pin with a small drill and a hammer, take the pin apart you need him to install the new blade. Pull out the old blade and install the new one.
  13. Open the doors and close the lock/latch with a screwdriver, the window will go's up.
  14. I agree with Chris in NH.
  15. This is normal if the engine is cut off and the ignition on after a short time. Let the engine running and clear the codes, the code can not been cleared with the engine off. As long as the engine is running ( the alternator load the battery ) the code will stay away.
  16. PK " I have to turn the ignition off and back on to lower the spoiler " this is not normal, an electric diagram can help you out, a faulty micro switch can give problems as he refuse to cut off.
  17. The gold colored solenoide command the variocam mechanism.
  18. The normal process in MANUAL mode is: Ignition on. Touch the up button ( not hold ) the spoiler go's up automatically. You have to hold the down button till the spoiler is completely down, if you release the button the spoiler stops immediately, there is no automatic function programed for the downward movement. Will the spoiler work this way ?
  19. The best you can do ( if you have time ) the car on a flat level, drain the oil, remove the oil filter and let drip overnight. Install the drain and the filter, you can fill easily 8,25 liter motor oil.
  20. Indeed that's the tool, looks unused to me Tool Pants !!
  21. Thanks for the info there was an electromotor attached at the other end of the resistor last week, the parts number was correct, probably an error in the parts dept. I take a look tomorrow, thanks again.
  22. The standard bulb is 55W H7 for the head lights also available as BLUE VISION from PHILIPS for a more bluish light or you can make a conversion to xenon if you want. I never seen burning lenses when using the standard bulb.
  23. Great, is the resistor still available in the US than?
  24. After watching your pics it looks normal to me that you can't press the pedal all the way in, the pressure plate is already pressed in after installing, the diaphragm fingers are too deep. Possible causes are clutch disc too thick or installed in the wrong direction ( transmission side installed facing the flywheel ) or wrong type pressure plate.
  25. The resistor is a part of the fan, not available separately.
