  1. This black plastic part is available separately.
  2. Dual mass flywheel issues are rather rare today, looks like the 964 heritage is still alive in the US.
  3. Approx. in the middle, left or right side in the radio support/chassis, depends on type.
  4. If the hydraulic system is free of air, a cracked pressure plate ( diaphragm ) is possible.
  5. Trey to find a lift, safe and fast.
  6. The left and right rear windows are adjustable with nuts just behind the B pillars, some cars suffering with loose nuts and rattle/vibrate windows, check this first. Let someone GENTLY push the window from the inside to the outside, the noise must go away.
  7. Only experienced drivers go's faster with PSM off. ;)
  8. Don't worry about that, mesh or not, you have to remove the bumper always to clean the radiators.
  9. Is it happen with the wheels turned to the left ? Could be a differential issue, communication problem between differential speed sensor and DME, a visit at the dealer is recommended.
  10. Richard The stalk is still available separately in Belgium, it is even easier for UK ( RHD cars ) to go directly to the DME, which is located in front of the steering wheel in the water drain room, pin A38 grey/yellow wire and make the connection there, if you can find access in the environment of the emergency brake pedal. All you have to do is: buy the original stalk ( 955 613 261 00 ) + pin and screws in the dealership, 1 meter wire 0,35 mm diameter in a shop and you can start. Program is a dealer job. Regards.
  11. I agree with Tool Pants, PIWIS tester or similar tool can give you the fault codes and shows the way to go.
  12. The clam shell can stay in place, just remove the bold with the alenkey and give attention on the spacers. The steel cables besides the hood are to strain the hood when closed, take care that the cables go's through the holes in the textile flaps besides the hood before fixation, otherwise the water drain on the back end of the textile will come off the hooks.
  13. Water pump and ignition coils are the most common issues, a spare 1 liter Mobil 1 5w-50 motor oil in the back is recommended for turbo Cayenne. There are no more or less problems than other SUV's.
  14. The filter in the pump unit should be replaceable separately.
  15. Simple, swap the bulbs ( left/right )
  16. No, but changing 7 years old gear oil is no hurtful to any thing.
  17. To replace the plastic water tubes with the light alloy ones, engine drop is no longer needed. Removing of the intake manifold, the water pump and the thermostat housing suffice. Are you sure that the TSB you refer to is not a V6 fuel line issue ?
  18. Every PROFFESSIONAL car vendor is obligatory to give ONE YEAR warranty starting at delivery day by low, on hidden faults, independent or dealer ( law consumer protection ) in Belgium. I have no idea in the US.
  19. Tape the radio off only in the area where the alarm contact spot is so that if someone will remove the radio, the alarm can get off. If you tape the radio complete off or disconnect the wiring on the contact spot the alarm system ( only radio ) is out, everybody can remove the radio than without warning.
  20. Your tool looks a better one, the contact area is much bigger.
  21. You are correct, there are probably problems with Porsche technical support in East Europe.
  22. Do you mean the fans behind the radiators in the front ? Low or high speed missing ? They should work continuously with the air condition on. They are accessible after removing the inner wheel well liners.
  23. Understood Richard, i have a visit next Tuesday at a dealership and i will check for separate stalk availability.
