  6. Reply from Durametic Good Morning, Thank you for writing. All fault codes displayed within the Durametric Software are defined by Porsche. Unfortunately, we do not have any further information regarding the cause of the fault. You may want to contact Porsche for further troubleshooting. Please let us know if you have any further questions. Regards, Kevin Lewis Durametric Software Inc 888-854-5523

I Rented one in L.A last year and absolutely feel in love with it.(so did my phone) The only down side i see that it is still a pretty new car.. but perhaps the winter will bring 2012 /13 @ 50-60K range .. hoping and hunting I would only want a PDK with ALL the buttons as well.... 991 C'\ is a complaint free everyday driver i feel ...

  13. OK ..so I spent a hour taking apart the rear lights and cleaning and checking everything. It is true that USA 996 Models only have only the Rear driver side fog light?? The right rear fog light has no power to it. I changed the bulb and wiring harness still nothing. Fuse good.. contacts clean and maybe a relay somewhere?? thanks so much!!!
  14. I have some running questions I was hoping you guys can give me some tips and links or pictures to read up on. My car is a 1999 C2 996 USA with tip Lately I have noticed at the lower RPM 1k -4K range . The 996 seems slow or low HP ( also take some time to get thru the lower RPM too) But...at 5K and higher RPM the HP kicks in hard and fast (feels like full power just swithes on) What would cause this. For some reason i have been thinking maybe a variocam issue . I have no CEL lights on and no other driving problems. just slow to start off. I just fully cleaned the MAF sensor and thorttle body along with the Air filter and oil change. I do all my own wrenching. Only been messing with air cooled 911 for 18years + . this is my 1st water pumper and would like to understand them better. thanks so much .
  15. Hi Guys, After thinning the herd of long hood 911s , I have been looking at Gt2 Can anyone explain why these top shelf Supercar 911 are so cheap right now I am seeing them in the 50 70K range right now, WHY?? Where is the bottom for the GT2?? They seem like a great deal to get these now, this will be a everyday driver too thanks
