  1. Thank you Loren, I've wondered about that hose was for. And I installed a window regulator two weeks ago and wasn't hard at all. I used the you tube video to help me. And have that working well. Just still having problems with car staying in running position. Not having any luck there. I enjoy reading everything and will help anyone with anything I know. Randoe K
  2. Thank you, I will check that first thing in the morning. Well after I install a replacement fuel pump. This will be the second pump. Just not getting fuel pressure. So the CPS will shut whole fuel system down even affect the Fuel pressure gauge to not show any bars? After I install pump and hook everything back up I will check to see if my tach needle jumps. Is there a way to check it from pigtail on intake area?
  3. Car stalled while driving on the freeway between 3 and 4 gears and car stalled. Checked fuses and none blown. Had to push car and have it towed. So far I've replaced fuel pump relay, and fuel pump, have 11 to 12 gallons of gas in the tank. I jumped the fuel pump relay and hear the new pump working but the needle on the Fuel pressure gauge isn't moving even while turning ignition. Every other start it will come on but then quickly die out. Because no pressure no fuel. When unscrewing the hose of fuel rail gas sprays out. So I checked old pump and seems to work fine but has a hole on the little u shaped hose so I replaced pump anyway in the beginning. I bought this 1999 Carrera 4 3 weeks ago and 4 days later it broke down on me. 96K miles. In November a reputable shop worked on IMS bearing, rear main seal, clutch kit for 6 speed trans and serviced it. So it passed all flying colors and private seller said he never had issues with it breaking down while in his 6 months of ownership. He just spent all that money on shop repairs and 1k on tires. And said it was a daily driver. Can someone please help me. I'd gladly appreciate it. Thanks Vonspire
