  1. Ps I have also changed the track rod ends. And can't detect any play in the steering rack.
  2. Having had an excellent response to my first question let's try another , I started to notice a quiet clunk or cluck when turning slowly in car parks and so began my quest to cure it. so far I have replaced all the shocks , upper mounts , all 4 drop links , all 4 coffen arms , all 4 diagional braces , the brake discs and pads , and the anti roll bar bushes. All new. It still makes the noise , which is only when breaking as you change from forward to reverse. I tried a local local garage who spent 30 mins checking everything I changed but could not locate the source of the clunk click any ideas what else this could be. steve
  3. Thanks that makes sense , it's strange that there are so many incorrect wiring diagrams about for the cdr23,unless there are different options on the outputs. anyway I will forget the use of line outs cheers steve
  4. Hi I know there's been lots of posts over the years about connections to the CDR23 , but reading through them I can't see an answer to my puzzle. My car is a 04 plate 2.7 with just the front speakers in the dash , so no door speakers and no rear speakers , no cd changer and no amp. It's not a Bose system. i have just added two rear speakers and taken the speaker wires to the ISO connector where the front speakers are also connected. This works. i found when the unit was out that there is a connection to the yellow c1 plug which according to the wiring diagram is a line out , however line out to what ? Also not all the pins are connected , heres a picture , first time on the forum so hoping somebody can tell me. thanks steve
