  1. I have a similar issue. Just bought this car from a good friend and he told me about this issue before I bought it. I have a 2004 996TT with X50, and a couple of times a week the oil pressure readout goes to zero, and then a few seconds later snaps back to a normal reading. From what I've been reading here it seems to point to the instrument cluster. I'm an electronics engineer and have a lot of experience in repairing similar vintage pcbs. Any ideas or comments would be appreciated.
