  1. Try 0461 or 0459
  2. Yes, it sounds like the camshaft is out of timing.
  3. Um... I am not sure I remember. It may need a load for the high voltage.
  4. Um... DTC's not P-codes. DTC 12 = P0136, P0140, P0138 Oxygen Sensor After TWC, Bank 1 – Signal Implausible Oxygen Sensor After TWC, Bank 1 – Above Limit Oxygen Sensor After TWC, Bank 1 – Open Circuit Best check the wiring/O2 sensor for damage. DTC 322 = P1340 Timing Chain out of Position, Bank 1 – Below Lower Limit Timing Chain out of Position, Bank 1 – Above Upper Limit This fault can be stored only if the engine was disassembled and the allocation of the outlet camshaft with respect to the inlet camshaft was incorrectly set.
  5. Try 996.555.611.01.V01 That is the door handle in silver lacquer (V01 is the color code - which is required). Any good parts person should have caught that. Try the folks at Sunset Imports (Porsche Parts at Dealer Cost) - I'm sure they can find it and give you a better price.
  6. Where are you located? Perhaps another member can give you a hand.
  7. Have you replaced the spark plug and coil wires? Seems silly but my 76 S had a similar problem and I found that it would burn up the coil wire (inside). I would certainly check the resistance of each wire. Might not hurt to check the engine ground strap too. Strange things happen when their is poor chassis ground on these cars.
  8. Item 5 is the level sender
  9. Yes, the 0.5 inch has to go somewhere - either it gets pushed inside or outside.
  10. Might I ask what you are trying to do?
  11. It is more likely a question of offset of the wheels and whether the wheels set 0.5 inches further inside (perhaps touching something) or 0.5 inches further outside.
  12. From the TT service manual: "It is impermissible to suck out the fuel through the filler neck, as this can damage the inner flap on the filler neck. Always suck out the fuel through the hole for the fuel level sensor."
  13. Porsche has only approved 21 wheels for MY07 and newer (Gen 2) Cayennes. For MY07 and newer they approve: 295/35R 21 107Y Continental Cross C. UHP N0 (Inside/Outside) Michelin Latitude Sport N0 (Inside/Outside) Pirelli P ZERO ROSSO N0 (Inside/Outside) Yokohama Advan Sport N0 (Inside/Outside)
  14. Try 4845 0r 4843 Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  15. Standard suspension.
  16. :welcome: Trailer operation Canada/USA Maximum gross weight 6790 lbs. (3080 kg) Maximum axle load, front/rear axle 3285/3968 lbs. (1490/1800 kg) 176 to 212 is considered normal. Oil temp is okay as long is it is not in the red. There were a couple of cooling issue TSBs issued. I suggest you ask your dealer to see if they were performed on your car.
  17. "Patrick Long, 26, the only American racing driver on Porsche’s factory team, made his debut as a UPS Porsche Junior factory driver in Germany’s Porsche Carrera Cup in 2003. Born in California, Long began racing karts at eight and moved to Europe at 17 to pursue a career that included a Constructor’s Cup Formula-A championship in 1998. He was selected as one of the six finalists in the Red Bull Formula One Driver Search program in 2002, attracting the attention of Porsche’s Uwe Brettel and Helmut Greiner. In 2005, driving with Jörg Bergmeister and Sascha Maassen in a GT2 911, Long won his first 24 Hours of Le Mans in his rookie appearance at the French classic. Together with Bergmeister, Long won the American Le Mans Series GT2 championship in 2005. This season he teams with Maassen at the wheel of the #6 Penske Racing RS Spyder. A card-carrying PCA member, Long lives in Bellair, Florida." View Patrick Long's Race Blog here
  18. Item 1 ( for C4): 996.504.527.01 Cover -- US MSRP $115.90 Item 5: 996.504.129.01 Cover rear -- US MSRP $91.60 I'm sure the folks at Sunset Imports can get you better pricing.
  19. Well that will depend on how long it ran with coolant in the oil. Certainly a chance of bearing damage if too much coolant for too long in the oil.
  20. Yes, as described in the radio manual and at the link below (if folks take the time to read it). Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  21. We have put a Carrera sender in a Boxster. We did it when we put a Carrera cluster in AnneH's Boxster. I assure you it fits and works fine.
  22. I doubt anybody but Porsche could diagnose a porous block. If you want a warranty why not buy a Porsche Exchange engine? That way you get your car back and you get a warranty on the replacement engine.
  23. Could just a tube off. Could be a cracked tank. Could be a leaking motor. You will have to take the wheel well liner off to see what is going on.
  24. The heads need to come off and go to a machine shop to insert the new valve guides. I guess you could wait until it gets worse.
  25. Hard to say - 45,000 miles seems a little early for all 4 O2 sensors. A modified DME program could cause issues too. You should likely plot the O2 sensor voltage curves and compare it against a well running 993TT.
