  1. You did not read the Lost Radio Code FAQ... "Can you give me a code for my PCM? These units are manufactured jointly by Siemens and Becker, and the only place where you can get the codes required is from the dealer/ OPC. The PCM’s require two codes, the ICS/Siemens code, and a Becker code. The ICS is the first code requested. Sorry, the only place you can get a PCM code is from a dealer/ OPC."
  2. Aerokit I - fits MY97 to MY01 Aerokit II - fit MY02 to MY04 Different design of the Aerokit II to fit newer model means it will not work on older cars (without body-shop modifications). Aerokit I also installs using epoxy for the sideskirts - so they must be held tightly in place while drying (to look like a factory install). Best to find a good body-shop that knows how to do that. I am sending you a PM also.
  3. Did the mechanic do the ATF fill correctly? Did he/she use a thermometer to make sure it was full at the proper temperature?
  4. P0717 (Porsche codes 91 and 92) Stall speed, transmission input - signal implausible Gear monitoring, transmission input speed - signal implausible P0732 Gear monitoring, 2nd gear - signal implausible P0733 Gear monitoring, 3rd gear - signal implausible P0734 Gear monitoring, 4th gear - signal implausible P0735 Gear monitoring, 5th gear - signal implausible
  5. Was this a legal Porsche branded PIWIS or a China Knock-off? There almost has to be a fault in the alarm system.
  6. Why not spend the money and get the car scanned - then you will know the problem exactly - instead of guessing.
  7. or a bad water pump... Take the belt off to eliminate the water pump and pulley system.
  8. Best use a Porsche scan tool and see what zone the alarm system thinks is open.
  9. Thanks but we are still shooting in the dark here. Any fault codes? If so, please post them here. Any modifications or recent changes?
  10. Do you know what the exact fault code was - or can you get it. There are several sensors.
  11. Things that come to mind... Weak battery or battery drain? Bad starter or starter solenoid Intermittent CPS (Crankshaft Position Sensor)
  12. I don't think enamel is legal to use in many states anymore. Here are some tips from a DIY...
  13. Yes, it should pretty dead on. You will need Wurth clear coat over the silver.
  14. No, you will need a PST2 or PIWIS and IPAS codes for your car. Any shop with the diagnostic tool and you would need to get IPAS codes from a dealer/OPC.
