  1. Try 1368 or 1366 If you have not already read this please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  2. The parts list show that key part number is only good for MY to 2005. And, that is a blank key. We know your car is US so that makes it 315 MHz (I5D2). 955.637.245.02.01C is a blank key for MY06 and will likely work -- US MSRP $128.25 You will also need 000.0432.06.19 Roll pin -- US MSRP $1.17
  3. Have you tried Eric at Bumperplugs.com? They paint most of this stuff. Yes Loren, It was Eric who told me he wouldn't paint the piece with the tray attached...I asked him how to remove the tray and he said "We are not Porsche technicians; we just refinish the materials to perfection here. You should ask a pro at your local Porsche dealership." I don't have a dealership nearby, and the one that is two hours away doesn't have a good reputation if you know what I mean.,., So I'm looking for help..if I can't get it the trim off, I'll have a local body shop paint it with the tray on and masked. Although I would prefer to use Eric at Bumperplugs, he apparently won't do it with the tray on. I am sending you a PM.
  4. 997.551.803.00 Catch lining tool -- US MSRP $5.44 each
  5. Have you tried Eric at Bumperplugs.com? They paint most of this stuff.
  6. Can you tell me the item number?
  7. Need to know what options (I5D2, I4F6, I4K0, etc. etc.) you have and your location for proper frequency. Also, do you want a blank or precut key (requires lock number)?
  8. So if I understand this correctly, this device will allow me to hook my iPhone 3G up to my 2002 Carrera 4S with a CDR 220, giving me power and the iPod connection in a single plug? If that is correct, then will I see iPod data on the screen, and will I be able to control the iPod with the controls on the CDR 220? If this all works, I may have to buy one! Someone needs to actually try this because our radios are Becker not Blaupunkt.
  9. Once you've done it a couple of times you get the hang of it.
  10. Porsche does not sell the plugs separately - so I doubt any (if any fail). There is no sealing ring on either.
  11. Search is your friend... Cigarette Lighter Removal?
  12. Very good information. Thanks. I have one of the Grey's: Seal, Atlas or Slate. Wish I knew which. Where are you located? - maybe a member here or a Porsche Club member can help you ID the color.
  13. Try 2991 or 2989 If you have not already read this please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  14. Porsche will not have a recommended tire for a 22" wheel. The MY03-06 Cayenne's are only spec'ed to 20" wheels and the MY07- on Cayenne's are only spec'ed to 21 " wheels.
  15. 6 speed or Tiptronic? Wood color? I had your VIN run and your option code for the steering wheel is IXPC. So your steering wheel is part number 996.347.983.11.S40 Tiptronic steering wheel with dark burr maple and Savanna leather. Are you sitting down? US MSRP $1159.86 Check with Sunset Imports (Porsche Parts at Dealer Cost) for much better pricing.
  16. Download the MY06 Porsche Order Guide here and check the colors. Very few of the colors a close look and name.
  17. 6 speed or Tiptronic? Wood color?
  18. If it is just the headlights then you either have a blown fuses or a bad headlight switch.
  19. N.906.487.01 Self tapping screw 4.8 x 16 -- US MSRP $0.31 each
  20. In order I would start with battery, clutch switch, then ignition switch.

    964 VIN Puzzle

I believe you are wrong. The first three letters of the VIN identify the manufacturer and all others that I can easily identify are letters - not numbers. WBA = BMW WVW - Volkswagen WPO = Porsche WFO = Ford It's very easy to confuse the O and 0, particularly on the VIL label as it's printed quite small an indistinct. Regards Dave Sorry, Dave in this case you are wrong - Porsche's World Manufacturer Identifier (or WMI code) is WP0 (that is a zero).
  22. Savanna was really the only tan/beige color for that model year.
  23. 996 107 22552 (DR 1125) I bought these from Autohaus Arizona so I'm not sure if this is their P/N or if it's the OEM P/N. It's a Mahle 0X128/1D After looking online - Pelican Parts says it's th same P/N https://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/shopca..._ENGoil_pg1.htm Technically yes. This part was later replaced on the Cayenne with 996.107.225.53 (V8's only).
  24. Try 4421 or 4419 If you have not already read this please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
