  1. Sorry, you will need a PIWIS tester to do this. Select the Cayenne PDCC menu item and work through the following points in sequence. Follow the instructions on the PIWIS Tester: Drive links >> Valve timing. Drive links >> Bleed. > 430307 Bleeding Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) Drive links >> Perform system test. Read out and erase fault memory. Perform a test drive. Read out the fault memory again.

Porsche Entry & Drive System The Porsche Entry & Drive system is offered as an optional step-up in convenience (ID-Number for all models); this system offers, in addition to the “Ignition Lock with Single-key System” described above, keyless operation of the vehicle. Porsche Entry & Drive consists of a system using interior and exterior antennas, an integrated identification generator in the vehicle transmitter, proximity sensors as well as a locking button in the exterior door handle surrounds. The driver carries an ID sender (electronic mini transmitter emitting an identification code), which is integrated into the vehicle key.
  4. Does your car have the Kessy system, "Porsche Entry & Drive"? If so, you will likely need a PIWIS tester to diagnose and perhaps update the program.
  5. Start by checking the ATF level - at the proper temperature.
  6. Sorry, to be late into this discussion buty has anyone put Durametric or PIWIS on this car to check for faults?
  7. Perhaps - check both the cluster and the alarm systems
  8. That function is controlled by the alarm/locking box and the cluster itself. You will likely need a PST2 or PIWIS tester to do a diagnostic check on both - as well as checking for fault codes. If you do not have access to one of those then you will likely need the assistance of a shop that one.
  9. Was the cluster lighting okay before the ignition switch change?
  10. Porsche usually sells a half shaft with both CV joints. A lot easier and not as expensive as you might think.
  11. Back to step 1. If you close the car doors and lock the car the cluster should go off in 3-5 minutes. Long by most people's standards. Does it do that?
  12. From the Lost Radio Code FAQ... "CDR-23 (or later): These radios do not have a security code - that is, not that the user enters. These radios are security tested on the MOST (fiber optic bus) system to see if they are the "programmed" radio. The radios are programmed and recognized by the car’s DME and can only be replaced by a shop with a PST2 or PIWIS. These radios will not request a code when battery power is disconnected."
  13. 996 107 023 54 or 996 107 023 55 - either should work for your car. Though 996 107 023 54 is a discontinued part.
  14. I posted the wiring diagram above - just follow the instructions and the wire color codes. RD/BU = Red wire with a blue stripe.
  15. Has the instrument cluster been removed? If so, take it out again and check that all the connectors are snapped in and secure.
  16. In the future please state the model year of the car. Thanks/ Information in the service manual for rear calipers states "Fit brake caliper. Tightening torque 85 Nm (63 ftlb.)"
