  2. An aftermarket GPS take a time to install. and need expert people to install mybe? Then I need a double din fitting with the same "frame" of PCM. Where can I find? D'you have experience regarding this issue? Loren I'm sorry but I just newer and I can't understand your sentence : "put a "Wanted" ad in the Wanted forum here, and check salvage yards for parts too" You asked where to get the parts. I suggested: 1. Out an advertisement in the Wanted forum here. 2. Check with your local car parts salvage yards for the parts from a wrecked car.
  3. Hi Loren, Thank you for information I became a contribution member now  Many interesting document but I didn't find exactly the upgrade to PCM2 mybe your link regarding an upgrade to PCM 2.1 (the equipment with external DVD navigation drive..) Any case you know where I can find a new PCM2 to buy? (Better new .), Any suggest..My be web site etc.. Right now I check on ebay but without success Thanks a lot Toni If your car is a model year 2007 then you need the hardware that is described in the TSB I quoted above. You can not put an older PCM 2.0 in your car. Check eBay (other countries), put a "Wanted" ad in the Wanted forum here, and check salvage yards for parts too.

  6. Hmm so maybe the part numbers I listed... one is for US, and the other for Canada, then... US and Canada use the same frequency (315 MHz). Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Mexico, also use 315 MHz. So most of the rest of the world is 433 MHz.
  7. Frequency is country specific.
  8. I usually disconnect the positive. I don't mean to sound like I have more experience than Loren working with cars (I don't :-), and I realize the question is about disconnecting one terminal, not both, but I thought I should point out that if you are disconnecting the battery completely, it is safer to do the negative first. ;) I am just very careful.

  14. http://www.cannell.co.uk/Manuals.htm I think you will find these manuals have many missing updates. To date there have been 99 supplement updates to the 996 Service Manual and I believe this "free" version has perhaps 1/3 of the updates.

  18. Tool Pants is in San Jose and I am in Roseville. If you want to make the drive over here I'll be happy to turn on your OBC and Cruise Control. PSM is primarily hardware and a small amount of software. It is a huge job to retro-fit.
