  8. :welcome: Very little difference in the seats but doing a Sunroof delete with get you almost an inch of extra headroom.
  9. That does not not like engine mount fluid to me. Engine mount fluid is usually greenish-blue. You need to check on the top side of the engine for leaks. I would feel under the filler hose (they get old and crack - but that usually gives you a CEL). Or look at the temperature sending unit - the can come loose and leak too.
  10. Wow!! That is exactly what I have experienced!! I will try to go back and try the various reset / voodoo methods. This seems common among Boxster / 996 owners. Must be the keys...... But how do we rectify this? I recently purchased my car and amazing enough it had the alarm module replaced and reprogramed....and still I am having similar issues to others. rlt Sometimes the key button (little metal dome) on the circuit board just plain wears out. You can either buy a new key or an old key and just transfer your transponder pill to the new key (with the working circuit board). Be sure and get a new key with the same number of buttons.

  13. Adjust gear should be a 9 o'clock as I recall. One way will make it tighter and one way looser I don't recall which way for each side. Tight is pretty obvious.
  14. Do you know if it is a 4 digit or 5 digit code? No sorry.. have no idea...Norbert For my Blaupunkt decoders I have to know the number of digits. You can always try a friendly dealer/OPC.
  15. Buy a hand pump at your local automotive store - just a few dollars.
  16. 1. There are tools for this but I use pliers. I use them opening to move the pads back - you don't need much room. 2. It is a gear (looks like a sprocket). 3. Look for the B&M short shifter instructions (I've posted a link to them here many times). They are quite good for removing the rear center console.
  17. Did you ever get it figured out? I had the same problem but when it started for me, Winter was coming on when I would start the car the radio would not come on for about 10 min, then when I was almost home the radio would come on. Now it just come on in the ACC position. no still no radio the my symtoms werer very similar to yours it would come on and off then eventually on in the Acc position, let me know if you find a solution? ignition switch - ignition switch - ignition switch
