    Oil change for 997TT is pretty much the same as 996TT. The DIY is here.

    The US/Canada standard suspension is pretty high. You will see some float at 100 plus MPH. Either a US sport or Row sport suspension will improve the handling dramatically with a small ride height reduction and slightly stiffer springs. Sorry, but you will need to replace much more than the swaybars.

    Passenger side. In a Carrera the transmission is closest to the center of the car and engine is rear most. Might I ask what is not working just the backup lights or the display in the dash (I assume reverse gear works).

    The back light switch is part of the main switch sector on the side of the transmission.

    It is original porsche There is a Porsche TSB which is a 12 page set of instructions on installing the trailer hitch. It is a little complicated (hence the 12 pages). Contributing Members here have access to all the TSBs.

    I have Sport Designs on my MY99 996. I got them new as exchange for my old wheels through wheelenhancement.com. To match the Mk1 GT3 specs the fronts need to 8.0" wide and the rears 10" wide. You can see pics of them on my car in my Registry images (link below)

    You can get the stainless steel underbody protection kit from Porsche. It is in their Tequipment catalog.

    As I recall they did not offer PSM on the Boxster until MY2001. Looks like you got TC (Traction Control). Do you have a button on your dash that says "TC"?
