  1. You will need a PST2 or PIWIS tester to properly bleed the new ABS pump/block.
  2. Absolutely no. You need to re-read the board Guidelines/Rules that you agreed to when you registered here. "You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or by this bulletin board."
  3. Porsche does not approve 5W-30 oil for it's cars. 0W-40, 5W-40, and 5W-50 are approved oil viscosity. You really need 5W-40 as a minimum.
  4. Those should work on any MY02-05 C2 Cab or Targa with 6 speed transmission.
  5. C2 or C4? 6 speed or Tiptronic? They will not work on a Boxster. Springs and dampers are rated for car weight (hence C2 or C4 and 6 speed or Tip).
  6. Try 3499 or 3497 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  7. Try 1237 or 1235 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  8. Yes, a PST2 bleed with ABS bleed may help. (I fixed the typo)
  9. Try 5142 or 5140 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  10. 1313,1314,1315,1319 C2 or C4? C4 had egas in MY99 and C2 did not. They are different DMEs.
  11. What are your actual fault codes? Is this a C2 or C4?
  12. Just use the TSB instruction for the aerokit install. There are two sets of instructions - one for MY01 and older and one for MY02 and newer cars. Use the one matches your model year. Loren, I looked at these and they only cover the full deck lid replacement. My spoiler only replaces the factory spoiler and the decklid remains. Ok, did you see the TSB for the Carrera rear spoiler for Cabs? 4/00 6658 Carrera Rear Spoiler -- dated Oct 6, 2000

  14. :welcome: and
  15. Have tried running the dealer handover sequence with their PIWIS again? Thanks Loren, what does that mean or entail? I'm going to the dealer tomorrow (they still have the car) so want to make sure I ask them the right questions! Hook it up to the PIWIS and re-run the dealer handover program. Sometimes that clears up "odd" occurrences.
  16. 997.553.141.02.A03 Ashtray in black -- (are you sitting down?) US MSRP $164.36 Best give the folks at Sunset Imports a call - I'm sure they can get a better price.
  17. Have tried running the dealer handover sequence with their PIWIS again?
  18. I think it is all one piece. I will also need to know the color.
  19. Try 0926 or 0924 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  20. I don't know - that is all that it says in the parts list. You might check with Jeff Clark at Sunset Imports.
  21. Yes, that is normal. There are companies that make a product that will let you raise or lower the top at low speeds. I think the SmartTOP people are still giving Renntech.org members $10 off. SmartTOP Special Offer
  22. 996.542.076.04 Right window regulator (same part for coupe, cab, and Targa) -- US MSRP $218.82 Perhaps the plastic is 000.043.204.38 Sealing material -- US MSRP $22.29 The plastic tabs are either grey or white - I think you need to check your old ones first because I think the size is different. 999.507.505.40 Grey clip (8 required) -- US MSRP $0.38 999.507.582.40 White clip (8 required) -- US MSRP $0.38 477.813.157 Fastening plate (washer for spare) -- US MSRP $19.73 996.572.567.01.01C battery cover -- US MSRP $13.78 you may also need 999.590.045.40 Screw plug (hold down for battery cover) -- US MSRP $0.77 each (2 required) Sorry, I don't see enough Cabs to know which part you mean - can you take a picture and post it?
  23. On a 6-7 year old car - I doubt it. But then, if there was a history of problems they could do it for free.
  24. Porsche workshop manuals are not free. You can buy manuals in sections from PIWIS TSI. PWIS TSI = Porsche Integrated Workshop Information System - Technical Service Information I would not buy any 2009 model manuals yet because they are still writing them and what you buy will likely be incomplete. It usually takes Porsche about 1 year to deliver a completed manual. And, no you do not get to download the completed version free after updates - you have to buy it again. Thanks man appreciate it.. but i found free manuals for some models on pdftown.com but didnt have the 987 they had others and complete, anyway thanks and if i found somthing i will tell all for sure!!! DO NOT post copyrighted materials here - please re-read the board rules.
