  9. I doubt the dealer does their own paint work - few do. Ask them who does there work and get 2 or 3 quotes from reputable body shops.
  10. ALL - Stop the personal comments here please. Re-read the board Rules/Guidelines if you are unclear.

  13. :welcome: Maybe time to find a new dealer - if the CEL is on there are fault codes. Find a shop with a PST or PIWIS tester and have the codes read - then report back here.
  14. Thanks loren Would this account for the rattle that I hear only when the top is up. Any body in Nothern MA or Southern NH with a tester. Thanks Christopher Check the PST2, PIWIS & Durametric Tool Registry

  17. Try 4534 or 4532 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  18. Yes, that location seems to have a * before and after the VIN.
  19. It's been covered here before a few times. It is inside the front latch mechanism.
  20. Pretty much fuse, switch and then OBC. Start with the fuses.
  21. I have a June 1999 build Carrera and it is a MY1999. So, perhaps you just accidentally got a MY99 VIN assigned to a MY98 car - talk about being the last one off the production line for that (model) year. There were almost no changes for MY98 to MY99 so very little differences.
  22. This is the same answer I told you in your PM. Please read this and follow the instructions... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  23. Very interesting that your VIN says it is a MY99 and Porsche's database says MY98...
  24. I will sent you a PM with the info...
