  1. Perhaps the bag was mis-marked. That is the correct number for a non-S Boxster.
  2. Read the TSBs - Summer Wheels and Tires for both models. Those will give you all the information you need.
  3. Folks you need to send a PM (Personal Message) to Porschelibrarian -- not post here.
  4. Service manuals and TSBs work hand in hand - sometimes both are needed to solve problems, identify issues, or install new accessories.
  5. can you store code ? every time i turn off switch i have re enter code. thanks Hmm... sounds like someone rewired your radio. All Porsche radios should be wired to unswitched power (which means they are always on).
  6. 1. Yes, especially the intercooler hoses. They are know for poor fitting and collapsing under pressure. Have someone rev the engine while you look and listen. 5. In the end you have to remove some of the variables - so in worst case scenario you need to find someone that can remove and store your flash. Then reflash to stock. Then after your problem is fixed reflash back to GIAC.
  7. My suggestions are: 1. Check for air leaks in intake air system. A loose or poorly fitted hose can cause all kinds of faults. 2. Check spark plug connectors. Approx 2k ohms. 3. Check ignition coils (again). 0.3 to 0.7 ohms (at 20 °C). 4. Get another set of factory spark plugs to test with. 5. Go back to the tuner that flashed the car and flash it back to stock to rule out the a bad flash.
  8. C4 or C4S? If so, read the section in your Owners Manual about refilling when the tank is very low.
  9. Clean the MAF and the throttle body. This usually solves better than 90% of the rough idle problems.
  10. Try 1139 or 1137 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  11. You need to get the front offset to: 50-52 mm and the rear offset to: 63-65 mm then everything meets Porsche spec.
  12. Use the VIN Decoder here. You will likely need the engine serial number to make sure of the engine - still it might have been upgraded.
  13. Yes and no, it could have been removed because the manufacturer has changed or discontinued that specific formula.
  14. Try 0820 or 0818 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  15. Likely bad fanfare horns. Yes, the alarm horn is a separate horn.
  16. How odd. Check the adjusting stalk is the only thing I can think of.
  17. I would suggest a silicone based lubricant next time. Chances are the WD-40 will evaporate pretty quickly.
  18. Try 5801 or 5799 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  19. Just different packaging - both are ATE Gold Typ 200
  20. Don't know what a 4S would do to the equation, but my PDK C2 is very responsive. If it did what you describe, I'd be in the shop with it. On a decent slope the brakes grab enough to freak me out - no rolling back for sure, but I need to get used to that. Caveat though - I am only in regular mode as long as I have forgotten to push Sport or S+ (not long) and I don't do Auto very often either. I found a really cool doc "2009_Technik_Introduction_All_997_Carrera_models.pdf" on some forum - could be here or PCA.org, not sure. Anyway, it explains much more about PDK (and more) than ever made it to the Owner's Maunals. Turns out the Sport and Plus modes also effect Manual shifting - cool stuff and makes S+ actually usable in normal driving. Auto and S+ is too over the top for around town for me. I'll attach it - if that's a no-no, sorry, someone delete it. Actually, better, here's the link: (link deleted) Worth a read for sure. Thant document is available here to our Contributing Members - and the linked document was likely taken from here. What section is it in. I plan to donate if I can find it. http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?a...&showcat=46
  21. Two beeps is an alarm system failure. One beep is one (or more) zones open.
  22. Try 8655 or 8653 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST Hello Loren, Unfortunately I have not yet been able to activate. I have read your FAQ and I understand the odds of not being successful. One point I noticed: Using the TP function the device type shows BE4462 (NOT 6625 as on outside label) Would type 4462 yield a different code for Serial 25013769 ? Thank you, Klaus No, the code is based on the serial number. So if you gave me the correct serial number - then you have my best guess.

  24. 1. Carefully press fastening ribs of scuff plate -arrows- outward with a small screwdriver and unclip switch for lid release. Install is the reverse. 1. Clip in switch for lid release with the locking tabs in the fastening ribs of the scuff plate -arrows- so that they are felt to engage. 997.613.105.01.A05 is the new switch assembly -- US MSRP $78.14 Try Sunset Imports (Porsche Parts at Dealer Cost) for much better pricing.
