  1. Um... you really need the kit. The fasteners, epoxy, retaining strips, templates, screws and nuts. Talk to the folks at Sunset Imports (Porsche Parts at Dealer Cost) - they can fix you up with a kit.
  2. There is a TSB that calls out the wheel and tires sizes that fit narrow body cars. 11.5 " rears will fit but 12" is not on the list. There is a separate TSB for wide body cars.
  3. Can you tell me the item(s) number?
  4. Please do not double post - I have deleted your second message with the same subject. Please re-read the board Guidelines/Rules if you are unclear on this. Thanks.

  8. Part numbers please. Different cars get different springs based on weight. Also need to know model, body style (coupe, or cab) and 6 speed or Tip.
  9. If the Tiptronic light is flashing then you have one (or more) faults. You need the Durametric software, a PST2 or PIWIS tester to read the Tiptronic faults.
  10. Try 1792 or 1790 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  11. C4S is different - it is the same as the Turbo and older 996 series.

  13. They will fit but the outlets (tailpipes) exit at a slightly different place on widebody cars (C4S).
  14. Porsche's suggests 90,000 miles for the final drive oil change on MY02 and newer Tiptronic models.

  16. Yes, the oil change warning needs to be reset with the Durametric software or a PIWIS tester.
  17. All it takes is one open sensor and the light goes on.
  18. Did you replace any sensors that were worn through?
  19. 9 times out 10 - it will be a cracked coil. Best to inspect and/or replace them all with the latest version.
  20. On MY02 and newer there is a clip/frame that is inside the bumper. If these tabs are broken off then you need to replace it. Access is by removing the rear bumper cover (about a 15 minute job).
  21. I don't know what it is in the Bentley manual - in the Porsche manual it is in Lights USA/Canada.
  22. Sometimes it just take a while to cause a fault and CEL.
