  1. There site has been broken for a few days. I sent them a message...
  2. Yes, you could likely recharge the system yourself with one of the kits -- but, the question is where is the leak? If you don't fix the leak you will just wasting the recharge (and your money).
  3. Diagnostics, Tips and Tools Forum
  4. Did you number and mark the pistons before removal - that is what the factory manual says to do.
  5. Please do not ask people to "share" copyrighted material here. Please re-read the board Guideline/Rules that you agreed to when you registered here.
  6. Time Units (explained elsewhere many times.
  7. MSRP is 61.04 each -- so $26 is a good price (IMHO).
  8. Did you check your Owner's Manual? I think not ;) Page 67 - "With the ignition on, hold adjustment button B (the one with the clock on it) turned to the left for about 5 seconds."
  9. Porsche's older POSES system had estimates by service manual task. The latest PET parts lists give time units for many common replacement parts and tasks.
  10. Where are you located? Perhaps a memebr here with a PST2 or PIWIS can help you out.
  11. Sounds like a an alarm/central locking issue. Did the control box under the drivers seat ever get wet?
  12. Can you tell me the two item numbers?
  13. Did you a search? http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?s...ost&p=12801 Try re-teaching the window. 1. Press and hold button until the window is all the way up - then hold 10 seconds. 2. Do the same to bring the windows down - again hold for 10 seconds. 3. Test the the one-push open and close.
  14. Approximate total mileage?

  20. If you purchased the proper Kirkland (Costco) battery for your car then it should have a vent tube opening - if that is the case go back and ask them for the tube connector. If it is not a battery with a vent - then I encourage you to get one that has a vent tube.
  21. Some cars have the vent tube and some don't. In most cases if the battery is in an enclosed compartment like a trunk it must have a vent tube to let the sulfuric acid fumes escape to the outside of the car. Without the vent tube you have a great chance of corrosion and a chance of a gas explosion. Be safe - use the vent tube on all Porsches.
  22. Please read the FAQ - this is for Becker CR-220/CDR-220, and CR-210 only. If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
