The Porsche code is: Fault code 4440 Steering-angle sensor Possible cause of fault: - Short circuit to ground/B+ or open circuit - Steering angle sensor calibration incorrect - Wiring! plug connection faulty - Steering angle sensor faulty I would start by putting a PST2 or PIWIS tester on the car and calibrate the steering angle sensor. Then clear the code and see if it comes back.

  4. Are you buying from a car dealer or private party? Are you in San Francisco?
  5. Porsche (Bosch) does not publish those since they consider DMEs as FRUs (Field Replacement Units). Porsche does sell rebuilt exchange DMEs for your model year.
  6. Have a look at TSB 4/074440 Approved Tires, Wheels and Spacers (As of 2003 up to 2006) -- dated Nov 5, 2007. It has everything you need - including pictures of the wheels.

  15. No - spring rates and damper rates changed due to weight differences (3.4 liter to 3.6 liter).
  16. Sorry, you will need the Durametric software, a PST2 or PIWIS tester to read the air flow over the MAF at idle and at 2500 RPM.
  17. Has the MAF been tested. P0102 says it is not connected.

P0455 Evaporative Emission System Leak Detected (large leak) Possible cause of fault - Tank cap not tightened correctly, faulty or missing - Mechanical fault in EVAP canister purge valve (does not close fully) - Leakage diagnosis pump leaking internally (membrane) or externally - Mechanical fault in EVAP canister shutoff valve (does not close fully when power is supplied) - EVAP canister shutoff valve connections leaking - Tank system (including pipes) leaking I would reset the other codes and see if they occur again.

  24. Most common problems like this are a loose connector on the oil pressure sensor or a bad sensor.
