  1. Most of the popular ones are fine. Size 48 for a perfect fit. Make sure it has the vent tube connector so you can connect to the existing vent. I have Autozone's Duralast (with vent tube and line), others have used Costco's Kirkland, and Interstate. They all last about 4-5 years so I personally do not think the brand matters. There is a several page Battery thread here
  2. Try 1234 or 1232 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  3. Model and year of your car please?
  4. Did you see our Glossary (top right of the menu)? CAN = Controller Area Network. A wired network used on cars.
  5. Model year of your car? From the Durametirc manual: "Cannot connect to 2005 – 2006 Cayenne If the instrument cluster says “press brake pedal” this means the CAN network is asleep and you need to wake up the network by pressing the brake pedal. The CAN gateway may need to be reset. If VAG-Com has been used on this car it is likely that the CAN gateway will need to be reset. To reset the CAN gateway take the key out of the ignition and remove fuse #40 for at least 10 seconds. The fuse panel is on the left side of the dashboard where the dashboard meets the door panel."
  6. The fact the misfires are only on bank 2 would seem to indicate that the problem is on that side. I would swap a coil from cylinder 4 or 5 to the other bank (1, 2 or 3) and see if the problem follows the coil. If not do the same with the spark plug.
  7. How old is your battery? Have you had the specific gravity of each cell tested? Have you had the battery removed from the car and load tested?
  8. 07 is the proper upgraded part. The wire hanging down does not look like a Porsche wire.
  9. Violet/Green wire on the OBD II plug (pin A9) is the easiest access point.
  10. Shop time is 30 minutes.
  11. Try 2454 or 2452 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST Didn't work... :( PLEASE read the FAQ.
  12. Hmm... faulty new switch?
  13. Does the car show P (park) in the display? The main fuse is behind the rear seats carpet near the DME.
  14. Try 9922 or 9920 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  15. Try 2454 or 2452 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  16. Range 1 is rev limiter hits - usually meaningless. These are 'controllable' over revs that the rev limiter was able to control. Range 2 means 'uncontrolled' and potential damage. I doubt they are engine problems are related. I would ask the dealer about both (the smoke) and the possible hood damage.
  17. The brake switch is easy to test - do the brake lights come on? Otherwise you may have a wiring problem per the possible fault causes above.
  18. Thanks. I currently have a C4S with the stock spoiler andthe footwell deployment switch. Being advertised as a "factory installed aerokit", I would hope the Germans would realize they don't need the switch with a fixed wing. Makes me wonder about the "factory installed" authenticity - Happy motoring! The factory aerokit on my MY99 Carrera still has the switch for the standard spoiler. It just does not do anything.
  19. HMM i replaced the Ignition Switch before putting it all together i started the car and it started fine. now that i put everything together, nothing all the lights come on but it will not turn over. now tapping under the steering wheel will not start the car either. Check the connections on the switch. Check the main fuse. Check that you didn't accidentally bump the clutch switch.
  20. Both are US M030 (Sport Suspension) and are the correct struts for your car.
  21. Try 9472 or 9470 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
