  1. Up near the firewall on the left side of the engine compartment. Under the electronics box.
  2. Model and year of your car please...
  3. Search is your friend... http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?s...ressure++sender
  4. Just click on the Donate link at the top left (or bottom of any page) and follow the easy directions. Thanks!
  5. You should be fine - the only thing on that circuit is the horns.
  6. Maybe spacers will help - if it is an offset problem. You did not say the wheel offset. But if it is a rebound problem then they won't help a tire that is too tall.
  7. If are really interested in this car then I suggest you spend the money on a Carfax and a PPI (Pre-Purchase Inspection). Please do not ask someone here to violate their Carfax Customer Agreement by running reports for you.
  8. That is great - please post it in the 993 section. Thanks.
  9. It might be rubbing under spring compression (i.e. bumps and potholes). Porsche does not recommend 19" wheels on 986 series cars and on the 987 series cars they are 265/35 x19 (not 265/30).
  10. http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=7069
  11. If you are using computer made CDs - try a commercial one or two. Sometimes the computer made CDs do that.
  12. The control box could be faulty (given the door lights) symptoms. It could also be a bad socket or plug in the door jamb wiring connector.

  14. Since you only have a misfire on cylinder 6 you need to check the electrical connector to make sure it has snapped into place. If the is okay then look for a cracked coil pack or a loose spark plug.
  15. Please do not double post - your question were already answered in your first post.
  16. The belt should be straight forward replacement - but before you install it check all the pulleys for wear or wobble. Replace any that are questionable. A broken pulley when the engine is running can do a lot of damage. Usually a coolant system reverse flush should remove the broken impeller bits. Most collect the pieces so they have an idea whether all or most all the pieces are there. Most commercial shops would do the same.
  17. :welcome: P1276 is an emission fault and likely has little or nothing to do with your door lights. P1276 Signal Delay Time for Oxygen Sensor Aging, Bank 2 – Above/Below Limit Possible causes: – Oxygen sensor ahead of TWC – Leak ahead of TWC or in the area of the oxygen sensor after TWC – Wiring (oxygen sensors exchanged) A far as the door lights go I would inspect the socket and plug connector in the door jamb for corrosion and damage. Also, check under the drivers seat to see if the carpet is wet and the alarm control box got wet.
  18. Please do a search this has been covered before.
  19. :welcome: Model and year of your car please?
  20. Try the folks at Sunset Imports (Porsche Parts at Dealer Cost).
  21. 987.543.111.01 Left rear window seal -- US MSRP $147.36 987.543.112.01 Right rear window seal -- US MSRP $147.36
  22. Model year please? You posted in 987C2 which is the second gen Cayman. Is this a 2009 or older car?
  23. 1. and 2. - yes and yes. Always replace shocks in pairs. To replace the shock the springs need to come out so a realignment will be needed. 3. Since you have done it before - yes. Check out the M030 suspension DIY in the 996 DIY section - it has all the tips you will need. 4. Most shops charge a flat rate for a corner balance - depending on where you live expect to pay $80 to $150. 5. Unless you will need to raise and lower the suspension for racing I would stick with the RoW M030. Pretty much fool proof. 6. I think the folks that have done that already added the Aerokit front bumper (from the GT3). In that case it is bolt on and combined with the RoW M030 suspension your car will be very stable to a much higher speed.
  24. That is normal and in the Owners Manual (the 5 day shutdown).
  25. Glad you got it fixed Lee - odd that it chose to fail at the same time you were in there.
