  1. Update: I have seen but do not yet have a copy of the TSBs for each model upgrade. (I will post these in the Contributing Members TSB section for viewing when I get my copies.) The procedure requires a dealer connected PIWIS tester to validate the upgrade code and allow the programming - so you will need to have the dealer/OPC perform this upgrade.
  2. Have your ignition coils been replaced? My guess is you have one more that are cracked.
  3. Check for: - loose spark plugs - cracked coil packs - coil pack electrical connector not snapped into place The last item is the most likely cause.
  4. Yes, a Porsche dealer can look up service records of service actions done at other Porsche dealerships.
  5. No gaskets. See the write-up here
  6. All Porsche PSM fault codes are in the 4000 and 5000 series. I suggest you get the car scanned with the Durametric Software, a Porsche PST2, or PIWIS tester.
  7. All the approved tire sizes are covered in the TSB - Winter Tires and Wheels.
  8. :welcome: Are you referring to the front or rear trunk? Both have microswitches that sense the position.
  9. Try 5744 or 5742 Tried both codes. 5744, unit sat on wait for about an hour after pressing scan up button, then returned "code". Second code 5742 did nothing, stayed on "code". Your thoughts please. If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so...
