  2. Charge pressure sensor is in the intercooler (intake pressure side) pipe. I think the ambient pressure sensor box is behind the dash/front console. Have you looked for actual values reported for each of these on the Durametric? Could narrow your search if one is zero or if charge pressure does not change with rpm.
  3. The adaptation values can be read out with the Porsche System Tester 2 and I suspect Durametric can read the same. The key to the adaptation values is as follows: RKAT = Adaptation in range close to idle - Cylinders 1 - 3 RKAT2 = Adaptation in range close to idle - Cylinders 4 - 6 FRAU = Adaptation in lower load range - Cylinders 1 - 3 FRAU2 = Adaptation in lower load range - Cylinders 4 - 6 FRAO = Adaptation in upper load range - Cylinders 1 - 3 FRAO2 = Adaptation in upper load range - Cylinders 4 - 6 FR = Oxygen sensor - cylinders 1 - 3 FR2 = Oxygen sensor - cylinders 4 - 6
  4. :welcome: P0732 Gear monitoring, 2nd gear - signal implausible Possible causes: - ATF level not OK - Solenoid valves - Valve chamber - Transmission P0740 Fault, torque converter clutch - present Possible causes: ATF supply - Torque converter - Pressure regulator 4 (hydraulic) - Electrical triggering to pressure regulator 4 - Hydraulic control unit Sure looks to me like you should start by making sure the ATF is at the proper level. Then run the Tiptronics tests with a Porsche PST2 or PIWIS tester.

  11. Try 9608 or 9606 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST Thank you for your quick reply, Loren. I tried the first stereo code you gave me: 9608, but I got the word to "WAIT". So then I turned the stereo off and on again, and turned the car ignition off and on multiple times, but I still have the stereo "WAIT" message showing. What do I do now? DO you also need this info: Becker 1 Serial # 250 14597, TYPE: 4462, 24/99 ? Thank you for your time. Cynthia Did you read the FAQ? I think not... Loren, Thank you for your assistance. I tried both codes 9608 & 9606 (just as I was instructed in the link you provided), but neither of those codes worked for my stereo. Do you have any more suggestions for other numbers that I may try? Thanks again for all your help... -Cynthia There are suggestions in the FAQ.

  14. The correct part number for the intermittent wipers relay for 996 Carrera is: 996.615.103.00 -- and it is $20 cheaper than the Boxster part.
  15. It won't fit around the headlights or fenders. There are some aftermarket replacements that look like a 997-1 bumper but do fit 996.
