  1. Clean them - not the sensors. DO NOT spray anything on the sensors - that will kill them for sure.
  2. Try 6782 or 6780 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  3. You need to send me a PM with your car's VIN. Please be sure and copy it correctly - it should be 17 digits.
  4. Try 4402 or 4400 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  5. Please post this in the proper thread. Please read this and follow the instructions... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST I will only answer radio code requests in the one thread linked at the end of the FAQ. This thread is now closed.
  6. You will need two of the expander nuts 999.507.040.40 (US MSRP $0.87 each)
  7. In 2001 there were 8 colors offered. So what color please? Also, plastic, leather, or silver trim/leather?
  8. So, if you had the cluster out to put in the LEDs are you sure the 3 plugs are back in correctly and properly locked down? That happens a lot with folks working on the cluster.
  9. :welcome: Sorry your post says 1996 911 Cab and your profile says 2001 911 cab tip and 2006 911 cab 6 sp What car are talking about please?
  10. Did you try a new LED to see if they were blown by a surge?
  11. On a 99 Carrera - that cluster has bulbs. http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?/topic/22621-instrument-cluster-lcd-not-illuminated-in-986/page__view__findpost__p__118046
  12. Did you check the bulbs? Do a search here cluster bulb replacement has been covered many times.
  13. You have to but the nozzle with cover (unless you can find one a scrap yard). 996.628.143.00 Left Washer cover with nozzle -- US MSRP $47.82 996.628.144.00 Right Washer cover with nozzle -- US MSRP $47.82
  14. I don't know what it is about Turbos - we once had Turbo owner come to one of our Work on Cars Day and he could not get his oil filter loose. At first I thought he was just not very strong (ok - I used the word wimp) ;) -- but after the first try I realized someone had way over torqued that filter housing. I had to use both hands and grunt a lot to get it off - I almost went for a breaker bar. Tools Pants had a little fun with the guy and after I loosened it - he had a woman (all of about 4 ft 5 in) come over and take it off in the owners sight. He was shocked!
  15. From the Lost Radio Code FAQ Can you give me a code for my PCM (or Traffic Pro)? Sorry, the only place you can get a PCM (or Traffic Pro) code is from a dealer/OPC.
  16. P0133 Signal Period for Oxygen Sensor Ageing, Bank 1 – Above/Below Limit P0153 Signal Period for Oxygen Sensor Ageing, Bank 2 – Above/Below Limit Possible causes: – Oxygen sensor ahead of TWC – Wiring (oxygen sensors exchanged) I would clear the the faults and then if they come back replace the sensors. Kind of odd to lose two at the same time... IMHO. So I would check for damage or if they have oil on them before replacing them.
  17. Turn the radio on an FM station - pull one at a time and when the station goes - you have the right antenna. (courtesy of RFM)
  18. 19. If the code works, what happens? Does the radio work right away? I tried both codes and it doesn't seem to have worked. Even got the "wait" code and had to wait an hour. Tried the codes again and keep getting prompted to enter again. How many times should you enter the code? Thanks for the help. PLEASE - read the FAQ.
  20. Yes, that is the breather/vent for the power steering.
  21. Sounds like the breather for the power steering - what you see is normal.
  22. Try 5648 or 5646 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  23. Your car came with a 5 year warranty. That is long expired as your car is 10 years old. You should expect to pay for any problems TSB or no TSB. In a few rare cases Porsche or your dealer may fix a "repeat" problem for labor only or no cost. But don't count on it. The dealer can check to see if your car was involved in that TSB - and whether the fix has already been applied.
  24. Thanks, Is there anyway to print the TSB? http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?/topic/11923-tsb-question/page__view__findpost__p__58313
