  1. Oil pressure sender is on the right side (passenger side). Many times the connector wire is loose, gets knocked off, or is broken. If the wire and connector are intact then replace the sender unit. Replacement is the same as the 996 which has been covered here a few times.

  15. No PST2 is considered obsolete. There is no such thing as a legal "cloned" PST (at least in the US). You can watch eBay for used "legal" PST2's or just buy the Durametric software as it can do most of what the average person wants.

  22. Watch for a tight fit where the side skirt attaches to the body. On the factory installed side skirts you can barely get a piece of paper between the body and side skirt. On many aftermarket (and some dealer installs of factory side skirts) I have seen as much as 1/8th inch gap. Not pretty... Here is a pic of the (rear section only) of a factory installed side skirt - note the tight fit to the body.
  23. See the two hoses at the top right of the picture (in my previous post)? I think that is where it goes. In the US the EPA require that vapors from the tank go to the charcoal canister and get re-condensed or burned as fuel. Also required is a valve test at startup that tells the DME if the system has a leak (even a bad o-ring on the gas cap).
