  1. Take the switch assembly out and reset the button in the plastic piece by pushing from the back side. It should snap into place.
  2. Sorry - which part of the engine cover? Or are you talking about the trim around the inside of the engine compartment as shown with the arrows?
  3. Which part of the engine cover are we talking about? 955.701.105.03.G2X License support frame (unpainted) -- US MSRP $26.00
  4. Screws behind the dome light but everything else pull off.
  5. 999.073.218.01 Tapping screw -- US MSRP $2.10 each
  6. There are two different parts for the rear wiper cover. Do you have options IQL3/QL5 or option IQL6? Rear license plate light assembly - again two different parts - Do you have option I1G3? If you prefer you can PM your VIN and it will direct me to the right parts. Rear door struts: Removing and Installing Rear Lid Support Struts
  7. Ok - I'm confused here... your profile says 996TT and you posted in 997-1 - what car are we talking about?
  8. Did you have the key in the ignition? if so the airbag was armed and the light is on because you disconnected it with it on.
  9. I would put everything back as it should be.
  10. 1. Pull the interior light out of the trim panel carefully from the front. 2. Release plug on interior light and pull it off.
  11. Um... you didn't say that before. Disconnect the battery again. Turn the key to "on" but do not start or touch the gas pedal - wait 1 minute - turn the key to off and remove the key. Reinsert the key and start the car - see if it revs now.
  12. Item 39 = 955.110.721.00 Round seal -- US MSRP $4.96 Not really - it will just give you the readings on each side - so I guess you can narrow it down to which side.
  13. Can you give me the item number?
  14. P1502 Throttle Jacking Unit, Spring Test – Above Limit Fault area Throttle return time too long. – Throttle part
  15. 1. Find the middle of the lid. 2. Position the GT3 RS logo with the dimensions A and B = 191.2 ± 1 mm and C = 28 ± 1 mm on the rear lid and affix.
  16. If the throttle sensor is working then I would suspect the MAF - although MAF problems usually cause rev problems at 4000 RPM and up. For a quick test you could disconnect the MAF and see if you can get to about 4000 RPM before it stumbles.
  17. Two things come to mind - - the car has slipped back into delivery mode which limits the speed (and revs) - if this is the case you will need a PST2 or PIWIS tester to reset it. - you likely will need the Durametric software, a PST2 or PIWIS tester to test the throttle position sensor.
  18. Does it turn over at all? If not, check the clutch switch (discussed here many times before).
  19. Try 0752 or 0750 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  20. :welcome: When you say rev is this parked or moving? If parked is the car a Tiptronic?
  21. From the CDR-220 Owners Manual available here
  22. What we have is in the Porsche Manuals downloads section. Unfortunately Porsche did not start releasing PDF version of Owners Manuals until 2003. So, we would need someone to scan their manual to PDF for older versions.
  23. 34 ftlbs. on the 3 strut bolts. Try not to move the strut when doing so or you may need an alignment afterwards. 37 ftlbs. on the seat belt bolts.
  24. Usually a dirty sensor (on the bumper) or disconnected wire on one of the sensors. If not, then you will need the Durametric software, a PST2 or PIWIS tester to further diagnose the fault.
