  1. Well... maybe read it with Durametric or PIWIS. Both can tell you if it is pending or current. They can force a reset and see if comes right back.
  2. Purge air is line near the number 6 on the diagram. Attaches near the top of the canister towards the fuel filler.
  3. Yes, Porsche put DME change detection in MY2002. So any flash would show at the dealerships/OPCs. I think at least one company offers a package that allows you to install and then revert back to stock (for dealer visits) - Softronic You would need to check with them to see if they have anything for the 007-2 series cars though. I have not seen any dyno test results on the normally aspirated 997-2 cars yet so I can not comment on claimed HP or torque gains. In our experience on the previous series cars flashing had little if any effect on the normally aspirated cars (10 HP or less).
  4. What type of air cleaner do you have? factory? after- market?
  5. Yes, it was -- and I looked up the original options on that specific car. As a Contributing Member I can get you a copy if want.
  6. Brakes look like they have been changed as that car originally came with PCCB.
  7. You will need to get the offset between 63 and 65 mm to get back with normal specs and be assured no rubbing or other handling problems.
  8. I am not saying you should not do it - I am saying don't believe the claims. If you look at real world tests of many of these intake mods - you will actually lose mid range torque and have very little real HP gain. As I said to each their own - but I would not spend money on this mod.
  9. Carpet covered foam - that' all.
  10. Sorry - I do not agree. Read my blog on Product claims and dynos -- and reality
  11. :welcome: You should search for OBC (On Board Computer) hack. About 8 pages of results... http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=19446
  12. The strut mount are under the rear carpet panel behind the rear seats. If you have Bose the speakers will need to come out first.
  13. Yeah, I forgot to tell you - you will always get a spoiler light at start up - but it will go out at 5 MPH (forwards or backwards).
  14. Loren I got the radio hooked up and verifited the S/N is 15088362 model number 4462. Rex Try 9552 or 9550
  15. I do not know for sure whether they would mate up right or not. Realize that there are substantial differences like the start mounts to the transmission on GT3 and on M96 it mounts to the engine. GT 3 uses 4 bolts engine to transmission and M96 uses 7. I think the GT3 transmission is physically longer also so the front mount would likely not line up.
  16. Lift fuel tank sender unit and disconnect electrical plug connection. Press the pushbutton (arrow) and simultaneously pull off the fuel lines. Carefully lever out the fuel tank sender unit.
  17. I think these are MOST (fiber optic cables).
  18. AP 007S is correct - I don't think PCM was bluetooth compatible until PCM 3.0.
  19. I have 285 x 18 on my MY99 - fit is fine.
  20. Try 9553 or 9551 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  21. Hmm... did all the switches etc get removed? I would put a PIWIS or PST2 on the car and see what it says for spoiler setting.
  22. Could be either - if the problem is intermittent then the light will come back on.
  23. wvicary is correct P codes have 4 digits.
