  1. Try 2351 or 2349 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  2. Please post this in the proper thread. Please read this and follow the instructions... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST I will only answer radio code requests in the one thread linked at the end of the FAQ. This thread is now closed.

    Reset Cel

Disconnect the battery for 2 minutes -- but as I said you REALLY want to know what the fault code(s) were first.

    Reset Cel

Yes, it can be reset - but you really want to know the fault code(s). Oil pressure should not have anything to do with a CEL. Oil pressure could be a bad connection on the sender unit or a bad sender (fairly common).
  5. I would get both load tested and specific gravity tested. A low battery can cause all kinds of weird problems.
  6. thanks for the tip but I have already done this. I have just watched the car - once I put the windows up it only takes the car about 2 mins to put the windows down again - the interior lights come on and first the drivers window goes all the way down then the passenger one - I have tried locking it this time to see if it happens in this state! Am worried about parking it now! So I have had the car locked for the last 2 hours and the windows have stayed up - I have now unlocked it and opened and closed the doors a couple of times and so far (only 15 mins) the windows have stayed up - hopefully I just needed to let the alarm reset itself or something as this is the first time that I have locked the car since changing the battery? Disconnect the battery again - wait about 2 minutes. After you re-connect start and run the car. Re-train the windows - then shut it off and lock it with the key. If it does not work then - chances are your key button is sticking (internally) or there is an alarm problem.
  7. Try 3115 or 3113 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST Unfortunately neither of these two codes (3113 & 3115) worked, and following your suggestions I also tried 3117, which also failed (so now the radio is locked again to WAIT). Anything I did wrong? Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance for coming back Please - read the FAQ.
  8. There are shadows on the car in the photo - so I tried to pick a middle spot. This one should be lighter... #FC9C4F
  9. You will need to re-train the windows (and sunroof) after disconnecting the battery. Hold the window button down until the window is all the way down - hold it an additional 10 seconds. Do the same for the window up. That should do it.
  10. Please read the FAQ - The CDR-23's are security tested on the MOST (fiber optic bus) system to see if they are the "programmed" radio. Only a dealer or shop with a PST2 or PIWIS tester can replace a MOST bus radio (i.e. CDR-23, CDR-24).
  11. Try 8935 or 8933 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  12. Try 8335 or 8333 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  13. I don't think you are going find a wire output for that - I am pretty sure that is all internal to the cluster.
  14. 1. Take off plastic caps 1 and loosen the fastening screws 2 of the scuff plate 3. 2. Lift scuff plate 1 using a plastic wedge and pull off upwards. 3. Checking fixing clips 2 on the underside of the scuff plate 1 and replacing if necessary 4. Releasing plug connection on actuating switch and take off scuff plate.
  15. Nothing that is how it works. I would however check every pulley for noise and wobble. Replace any that are suspect - a broken pulley can cause all kinds of damage.
  16. One is the towing lug 955.721.151.00 -- US MSRP $14.06 and maybe the center cap extractor 955.721.153.00 -- US MSRP $0.57
  17. 1. Best check with a reputable Porsche paint shop - I think the trim and wheel paint gets a special hardener. 2. D5Q is what the parts list says for Marine Blue Metallic
  18. They only show in the parts list for 9PA1 (2007-2010) but they might fit.
  19. Tell your dealer have write the exact description you give on the repair order. Then when something fails 2 years from now you still have a warranty claim.
  20. OBD II port is under the dash to the left of the steering wheel (LHD cars). Yes, if there were a problem the CEL would come on and there would be fault codes. You might check when you turn the key on to see if the Check Engine Light comes on for a few seconds before you start the car - if it does not the bulb could be bad (or removed).
  21. It is up under the left front fender liner. So you will need to remove the wheel and liner to access.
  22. 1. If there is no part number on the cap then I suggest you replace it as it may not even be the right cap. A new cap is only about $20 MSRP - cheap insurance in my book. 2. You would need to pressure test the system with the car off. Obviously check the hoses on the under side of the car - but a leaking hose would not get the trunk wet -- so I think you need a new tank. 3. Porsche used two different coolants one was greenish-brown and the other was pink. Porsche coolants CAN be mixed. Porsche states that their coolant is "lifetime" as long as it is not contaminated. Do not mix other coolants with Porsche coolants or you could end up with jello. Either use Porsche coolant (or OEM equal) or change all of the coolant to the new brand (which is a bigger job than most think).
