  1. The part numbers are in the 996 3rd Radiator DIY here. I agree if they gave you the right parts they should fit. BTW... the parts are different for Tiptronic - in that case the 3rd radiator cools the transmission. As I said see my 996 DIY.
  2. Check the socket for corrosion.
  3. It would be helpful if you would tell us the model and year of your car - and 3 spoke for 4 spoke steering wheel. Also, exactly what problem are you having?
  4. Try 4160 or 4158 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  5. Try 9579 or 9577 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  6. Try 6886 or 6884 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST PLEASE - read the FAQ.
  7. Are they .BMP files if so change them to .JPG and you will be fine here. (BMP files are like 10 times larger than JPG files generally).
  8. Looks like you linked to thumbnails.
  9. If one turn signal works then the relay is fine. The flasher relay is in socket position 3. Top row 3rd from the left.
  10. Try 6886 or 6884 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  11. Sounds like a bad ground or bad socket. Best look closer at that socket.
  12. Are sure he said cam sensor and not flywheel (RPM/Engine Speed) sensor? That is what fault you told me? Cam sensors and RPM/Engine Speed sensor are two very different things. Mmm... no, you can change a cam sensor with the engine in the car. You need the proper cam holding tools so the cam timing does not slip. I would get all the faults and report them here. Fix all the 'other' faults and then clear them and see if the cam sensor fault comes back.
  13. Yes, that is why the test is there. Run the Tiptronic tests and you might be lucky and it tells you exactly what is wrong.
  14. Please try our Search - I just posted this 4 threads below this one... http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?/topic/33880-2000-boxster-s-fuse-panel-plan/
  15. Report it as a bug - Duram will likely get back to you within 48 hours.
  16. The OBC is in all 986 Boxsters. It was still an option (M659) to get the additional steering wheel stalk to control it.. It must be turned on in the instrument cluster and you will have to have the 4th steering wheel stalk to control which display you see. If you normally see outside temperature in your display then your OBC is turned on. If you do not have the 4th steering wheel stalk - then you will not be able to change the display. The additional of the 4th stalk is documented here in the DIY section. Search for 'OBC Hack'.
  17. There is a lengthy detailed thread already on this subject - please do a search.
  18. Try 0794 or 0702 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  19. They are connected to the same points so it makes no difference.
  20. Yes, and without the codes everyone is just guessing.
  21. Update June 21 99.99% of all the bugs should be fixed now so I will close this thread. Please post any new problems in a new thread - thanks for your patience.
  22. What is the exact fault code(s) please?
  23. Yes and no. Remove and clean with Mass Air Flow Sensor cleaner. Some electronic cleaners leave residue so some folks here have learned not to use it but to use the specific air flow sensor cleaner.
  24. See the procedure in the DIY Tiptronic fluid change - starting at step 19. http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?/tutorials/article/68-tiptronic-transmission-service/
