  1. If you think about it - it must be shorted - because if it were open it would do the same as disconnecting it.
  2. Try 6704 or 6702 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  3. Pretty simple - but it will take a little extra work. The switch is on the handbrake lever. To get to the the switch you will need to remove the center console (a good chance to find all those lost coins). Removing the center console has been described here many times and the the B&M shirt shifter instructions even have a pictorial step-by-step. Expect it to take about 1 hour with removal and replacement of the console and any cleaning.
  4. Try 4457 or 4455 If you have not already read this FAQ - please do so... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST

  9. Exact model and year of your car please?
  10. Well you could try reseating the cluster connectors. The same signal comes into the cluster for both the startup reading and the OBC messages.
  11. Try this... 1. Reset the fault codes. 2. Switch on the ignition. Wait one minute. Do not press the accelerator. 3. Switch off the ignition for at least 10 seconds. 4. Read out the fault memory.
  12. Has the cluster been out of the car - if so, then recheck the connectors.
  13. TSB = Technical Service Bulletin. Here is a link to what wvicary is referring to... Clutch Pedal Does Not Fully Reach Its Original Position
  14. Yes, the same as a new engine.
  15. Sounds like the e-brake microswitch is worn out.
  16. Yes, I took the wrong price list when I added it to the database here. From now on I'll double check before I update.
  17. The boiling point temperature of water is 195.315 °F at 9100 feet (Altitude Corrected). So I would expect it to be less than 10 degrees (F) higher.
  18. On Durametric I think the category is called "Actual Values". Choose from the list what you want to monitor (both throttle and Tiptronic).
  19. Sounds like your oil level sensor is bad and needs to be replaced. Do you get no bars when you first turn the key on (during oil level measurement)?
  20. I think this topic has run it's course - so I will close it now.
  21. Are you folks doing the Porsche recommended cool-down for turbos?
  22. If you have a Durametric, PST2, or PIWIS tester - they will tell you exactly which zone is open.
  23. One beep means you have an open alarm zone. If you have replaced the radio - then you need to tape off the alarm wire.
  24. Try re-training the windows. 1. Press and hold button until the window is all the way up - then hold 10 seconds. 2. Do the same to bring the windows down - again hold for 10 seconds. 3. Test the the one-push open and close.
