  1. Start with the relay (swap with the working one) - if the issue moves with the relay then it is the relay. Then inspect the wiring and connections. Third would be the DME but that is unlikely. So, third would be a bad motor.
  2. Sorry, you did not read the Lost Radio Code FAQ... "CDR-23 (or later): These radios do not have a security code - that is, not that the user enters. These radios are security tested on the MOST (fiber optic bus) system to see if they are the "programmed" radio. The radios are programmed and recognized by the car’s DME and can only be replaced by a shop with a PST2 or PIWIS. These radios will not request a code when battery power is disconnected."
  3. Does not exist - and would be copyright violation to make a copy if it did. Please do not ask again on this site.
  4. Did you follow the procedure in the Lost Radio Code FAQ?
  5. It won't show on the gen 2 cars without a stalk or button to change the display.
  6. That is correct.
  7. How many miles? I would say... Verify 3. Item 1 should fairly easy. Obviously, you are going anywhere with a weak or bad battery. Item 6 - I would definitely try replacing the ATF with Porsche spec fluid and make sure it is at the right level. Certainly check the cardan shaft and joints more important if the car is high mileage. Rear hatch struts - if it drops on your head then they should be replaced...
  8. As JFP said it needs to be turned on in the instrument cluster.
  9. Then chances are the radio was repaired by a third party (not Becker AutoSound) - and they did not set the serial number. There is no way to know the serial number or the code unless Becker can fix it. Sorry...
  10. Did you follow the procedure to get the correct serial number on the display? If the unit has ever been repaired then the serial number on the radio (label) is likely wrong.
  11. Porsche scan tools (PIWIS) translates those into P codes. So all of Porsche's manuals fault tables are in P codes. I do not know of any outside translation unless Durametric has done that.
