  1. :welcome: You will find that Search is a good friend here... http://www.renntech.org/forums/topic/44901-confirmation-on-seatbelt-routing/
  2. Yes, the easiest way (IMHO) is to remove the oil filter and pour out the contents - then re-install it.
  3. Assuming 2008 997-1 Carrera 4S Looks like 997 613 438 03 V04 -- Right switching module in Galvano Silver -- US MSRP $256.35
  4. The MAF has nothing to do with starting and little effect at idle. It does 95% of it's work above 4000 RPM. You have both a fuel pump relay issue and a tank vent leak issue - I think you start by solving those. Measure the fuel pump output. If you do not have the tools to do that have a shop do it for you.
  5. You need both the emergency (only) spare tire 991 362 020 00 and the compressor for that tire 997 652 055 00. Remove the emergency spare tire and inflate it using the compressor. Then use it to replace your flat tire. I suspect it would need to be deflated again to return it to the trunk.
  6. This should cover the legal requirements... http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/trade/basic_trade/importing_car.xml
  7. I do not know if that play in the shaft is normal or not (don't have a Tip to look at right now). Perhaps some other member can check theirs? If that is your problem you will need a couple of special tools to replace the shaft (assuming that is the issue). A couple seals will need to be press fit and bearing on the transmission side should be checked for wear.
  8. Please state the exact model and year of car and whether it is 4WD or 2WD.
  9. Hmm... still says invalid in main program. Tried an old program and it came up with 9952. This program is not nearly as accurate some you may need to try 2 number or 2 numbers lower - so also 9950 and 9954. I hope this works for you...
  10. Please re-check the serial number as that one comes up as "not valid". Thanks.
  11. Did you obtain the serial number through the method in the Lost Radio Code FAQ? If not, please do so and re-submit the correct serial number. Hi. Yes I did like it said in the manual. This is from the display: CDR 22 4467 W5002435 25/98 CDP2065 Best Regards Jonas Based on that serial number it should be 4606. If that does not work you will likely need to contact Becker and pay for their service.
  12. In the yellow plug, green plug, blue plug bundled wires - the yellow goes to the amp, green and blue go to the CD Changer. And... are you sure the amp fuse is good?
  13. Yes, but that service manual image is from the 2001 version so it has not been updated for the MY2002 and newer. All in all it should be pretty much the same - and no twists when properly routed.
  14. Yes! Disconnect the battery as the MY2002 and newer cars use pyrotechnic ball belt tensioners. During a rear collision only the belt tensioner is triggered. The balls are driven through a pyrotechnic propellant charge. This kinetic energy is carried over to the belt reel via a pinion. Belt slack is taken up by winding in belt. So you don't want this to go off when handling. And if one does fire, then you need to buy a new one as they will not work again.
  15. Richard is correct M680 has both the amp and DSP. (click to enlarge)
  16. Did you obtain the serial number through the method in the Lost Radio Code FAQ? If not, please do so and re-submit the correct serial number.
  17. Which amp do you have? The option should be either M490 or M680. You will also likely need the antenna booster and cable for the radio (996 647 105 00 Antenna Booster and cable -- US MSRP $96.46)
  18. Please do not double post. Re-read the board Guidelines/Rules... "Please post your messages in one forum only. Crossposting, double posting, triple posting, etc. are all a waste of time and valuable resources. If you post the same message in multiple times or in multiple forums, we will delete the ones we feel are inappropriate." Your duplicate post has been removed.
  19. Yes, the radio code stays with the radio - so as long as that same radio is in the car the number I gave you will work.
  20. Could you tell us the exact fault codes you are getting now?
  21. I would remove the throttle body and clean it thoroughly. You just can not get behind the throttle buttery with a spray can from the front. Also use electrical contact cleaner on the electrical sensor connections. I think the eGas cars are even more sensitive to a dirty throttle body than older cable driven version.
