  1. RFM is correct. No warning system for lights in 9x6 series cars - those did not come in until 2005 with the 9x7 series cars. The 9x7 series cars have several new control modules through-out the car. The electronic components were one of the major changes from 9x6 to 9x7 series cars.
  2. Is the wiper arm loose on the driving shaft? (just trying to eliminate the easy stuff)
  3. Did you check 5A fuse F52 (right fuse box)?
  4. Exact model and year of your car please.
  5. There is no difference in the wheel carrier on 981 and 981S. Of course you know the rear brakes are the same for both 981 and 981S?
  6. Default on the Porsche PSE is open (loud).
  7. Clear Channel stations? The RDS PI's for all the Clear Channel stations have been wrong for as long as I can remember. I'm not sure anyone over there cares...
  8. I sent you a PM with the torque info as it is too much to post here.
  9. The Porsche springs run about $350 for the front axle and $260 for the rear axle - MSRP. So Sunset Porsche could offer much better pricing. If you want the original ride then use the Porsche springs and drop the wheel size to 20" max.
  10. Not from the factory but sometimes an owner or tech write it there. Still not reliable as the radio may have been changed out. Use the method in the Lost Radio Code FAQ
  11. :welcome: Yes, model year 2011 - 2014 (all 92A) are the same running boards. Part number for the kit is: 958 044 801 05
  12. It is not not a case of "checking" - it is a case of "re-programming". That is the problem - checking does not correct the errors or necessarily report all errors. If that dealer will not do a re-program then I would find another dealer - seems like they just want you to buy parts without doing all the possible (easy) fixes.
  13. It would appear the same method as the early Cayennes. Remove the two (capped) screws at the inside edge of the light assembly (inside the hatch opening).
  14. Pretty much standard trim removal applies. Open the rear window to make it easier. Unclip center window frame trim from the rear lid and from the side window frame trim.To do so, raise the trim slightly and lever out the clip connection using a trim tool or screwdriver. Work your way around all edges until the lining is free. If the car has spent much time out in the sun - then the plastic clips may break and need replacement when re-installing.
  15. 1. Sorry, no. You need a PIWIS or PIWIS 2. 2. Start with the troublesome battery to starter cable and the chassis ground.
  16. C202 Diagnosis information CAN - Fault entry in specified control module Possible fault causes - Control module is incorrectly coded - Periphery connected to specified control module is incorrect - Control module faulty (in most cases the cause is not the control module but incorrect coding!) C152 Diagnosis information CAN - PSM control module, communication Possible fault causes - No power supply for PSM control module - PSM control module incorrectly coded - Short circuit or open circuit in the CAN drive - PSM control module faulty (in most cases the cause is not the PSM control module but incorrect coding!) You have checked the grounds on the car? I would try re-programming the PSM module - clear the codes - then see what comes back.
  17. 8035 Diagnosis information rear - Reversing light Possible fault causes - Open circuit/contact resistance in wiring, sockets, plugs and terminals - Short circuit to ground in wiring - Reverse gear switch faulty - Tiptronic control unit faulty - Short circuit to ground in point SP039_SPRFL_2 (driver's seat) of the ParkAssist control unit
  18. 8037 Diagnosis information rear - License plate light Possible fault causes - Open circuit/contact resistance in wiring, sockets, plugs and terminals - Failure of one of two bulbs (2 x 5 watt) - Short circuit to ground in wiring
  19. There is a TSB for new sealing rings for the on the intake socket of the coolant regulator housing. But I think that assumes there is a leak. But I would look for coolant leaks and coolant in the oil (or oil in the coolant) - first.
