  1. The last update(s) to paper service manuals was 2006 which is when Porsche moved to everything electronic (via PIWIS). I believe 2006 was also the last year for POSES updates. (RFM please feel free to correct me here)
  2. I am not sure if you need a CD Changer or not as the wiring (MOST - optical) seems to pass through it. You will also need the antennas. (click to enlarge)
  3. I think the difference in the wire harness is at the chassis level not at a sub harness (replaceable) level. Every Porsche made has a custom (to it's factory options) chassis harness.
  4. +1 on wross996TT's comment... my BMC (oiled filter) is 14 years old. It's all about good maintenance practice and NOT over oiling.
  5. Sorry - Richard is correct.
  6. CDC is CD Changer not the radio -- please READ the Lost Radio Code FAQ
  7. Remember this is just a giant erector set (oh... might be dating myself with that). Everything is pretty un-bolt and un-fasten and then reverse the process.
  8. Yes, the charcoal canister and fuel door solenoid are also covered in a separate DIY. (click to enlarge)
  9. The bumper cover and headlight are covered here in both the DIY Tutorials and DIY Videos. Once you have those removed (along with the wheel well liner) the fender basically unbolts. Couldn't be easier.
  10. Not without wiring in a manual switch then.
  11. If you have access to Durametric, a Porsche PST2, or PIIWS tester - they can be tested at both low and high speed.
  12. 955 531 915 02 B9B Cover (satin black) left -- US MSRP $6.09 each
  13. Did you see this post? http://www.renntech.org/forums/topic/45757-airbag-fault-1217-fixed
  14. If the re-learn does not work then you will likely need a Porsche PIWIS tester to do further diagnostics.
  15. See this procedure: If any of the points mentioned below are suspected to have happened, it is recommended to relearn the end positions for the control unit. Before learning, switch off the ignition and switch it on again. To learn, the knob (emergency button) is to be pressed in the position 'Roof completely closed' until the roof is completed closed. First the sun blind closes completely, then the roof segments A(1) and B(2) and C(3). Learning the end positions must be carried out to completion, otherwise the roof cannot be electrically activated. Note- The end positions must be learned when: - The roof does not react when actuating the switch - The end positions of the roof segments are not correct - Battery or terminal 30 were interrupted - Emergency operation using the crank was carried out - Components (control unit, motor, elements) were replaced - Roof segments or components were adjusted Before teaching the end positions, the knob must be in the position 'Roof completely closed' and the ignition must be switched and switched on again.
  16. Have checked the left side fuse F42?
