  1. Air mass as stated is ML in kg/h and assumes: Test conditions - Engine at operating temperature - Engine temperature higher than 80°C - Ambient temperature 20 °C - No electrical consumers switched on
  2. 700 RPM +- 40 RPM is spec. Air mass at idle 12-24 Seems you are on the edge -- I would look for a small intake leak.
  3. This can be (and has been) argued forever. I don't think we need another new thread on this (especially in Boxster Top issues). I will close this - please read the OTHER threads on this same subject.
  4. Did you read the procedure to have it display on the radio in the Lost Radio Code FAQ? He had the procedure for the 220 and it made no sense for the 210. We continued the work and disconnected the power knowing we could get to the decal on the side of the radio but as you can see a couple digits are hard to read. If you click on the photo it increases size making it easier to view. I am guessing the number is W5024388 or W5024888. From the Lost Radio Code FAQ... "CR-210: Press tone, then 8 and 0 simultaneously. "Becker" appears. Press station up arrow on right. "PR-VERS" appears. Press one of numbered buttons below display, directly below the LCD arrowheads (try a few). The model number will appear. Press station up arrow on right. "SERIAL N" will appear. Press the numbered button again. The serial number will appear. Or, if the radio is out of the car the then the serial number is on the label."

  7. Age, sunlight, weather, etc., etc. cause this sort of thing - on all cars. Same part for all 9x6 series cars with anti-dazzle mirrors. Couldn't be easier... Carefully pull the mirror glass out of the metal clips. Disconnect electrical plug connection. Install is the reverse.

  9. I would start by cleaning the throttle body also. If it is still rough then the coil packs should each be tested.
  10. The engine compartment purge fan brings in cooler fresh air when the engine compartment temperature exceeds a preset value.

  12. Some sections have more than one volume - some of the indexes are divided by pre-2001 cars and 2002 and later cars - and some indexes are divided by 2 wheel drive and 4 wheel drive. Did you try and ask the seller of illegal copy? Not all volumes may have a specific update - but in all there were 99 updates. This is just one update (from 2005) that includes an additional volume (binder).
  13. In all 17 volumes? You are better off to contact the company or person you purchased the paper manuals from and ask them what the latest update level is.
  14. POSES is basically an electronic format of support literature for all models. Some files were in PDF (later updates) as they moved to PIWIS but some of the early files were in odd or image only formats. Oddly I always found a few things missing from POSES that were included in the paper manuals. Paper manuals may still have the supplements (updates) available but you would need to find out what level your current manuals are at. If the updates were done properly then the updates should be reflected in both the table of contants as well as the footers on the changed pages. In all the 996 service manual had 99 supplements - I know I bought and paid for all of them. TSBs were at one sold as a yearly subscription (about $450/year) that was updated monthly (expect that sometimes they did not ship the CDs out for 3 months). That program was also stopped when they changed over to PIWIS TSI. Now all TSBs are downloaded from PIWIS TSI on a one-by-one basis with a charge for each TSB (a real PITA). Of course of you have a leased PIWIS tester and pay the $18,000 year lease these are included with the PIWIS tester.
