  1. Do you have the latest software updates from Porsche? If so then just disconnect the power cables from the back of the unit for a few minutes. No need to disconnect the antennas.
  2. It sounds like your ambient light sensor (for the dash lights) is bad. If you have Durametric or PST2 or PIWIS access you can test it easily. It should change based on ambient light.
  3. Try 0839 Hi - it didn't work. :(. And did you get the serial number using the procedure in the Lost Radio Code FAQ? (I think not).
  4. Exact model and year of your car please?
  5. What model/year car? Your profile says Boxster but you posted in 996 Carrera.
  6. Please use the procedure in the Lost Radio Code FAQ to obtain/verify the serial number.
  7. See my post #2 above - it pretty much has to be the pedal sensor. Or a loose connection at the pedal sensor.
  8. Have you reviewed the two diagrams (3 channel ABS vs 4 channel ABS) in the service manual. If not, let me know and I will get those to you.
  9. That is not the same piece from your car that is shown in the diagram (above). You can check with your local dealer - but the part you want does not show separately in the Porscge system
  10. Your car is a model year 2008 and is a DFI engine. The rest of your specs are in the return PM I sent. Enjoy...
  11. PM me your VIN and I will see if I can look-up the specs and factory equipment.
  12. Make sure the screw clamps you use are a good grade of stainless steel. The last thing you need is one of these corroding and breaking while driving.
  13. An updated switch came out in late 2000. You will need to remove the center console to get to the handbrake and switch. The B&M short shifter install instructions are excellent for the console - they include step by step and photos. You can download them here (in the Downloads section) or directly from B&M.
  14. 996 552 155 03 D12 Lid (leather) dark gray -- US MSRP $831.21
