  1. It should go off on it's own. There may also be some idle "re-learning" that will clear up in the first few miles.
  2. That is a current and active part in Porsche's parts system. There is no reason they should not be able to order it for you.
  3. http://www.renntech.org/forums/topic/44877-broken-door-lock/
  4. You can likely use the ear phone jack out of your phone to test it.
  5. :welcome: Sounds like an after market add of an AUX switch. This would allow switching from an MP3 device and the CD Player.
  6. Please read the Lost Radio Code FAQ - sorry, but that radio is not covered.
  7. It is not as easy as you might think - I suggest you take the car to an automotive upholstery shop and have them give you an estimate. I know of a couple people that have had their whole headliner replaced by one of these shops for $300 to $500 including materials. So a repair might be less than you think.
  8. It won't be laid out like you want - that is, there is no diagram of what goes through the firewall. There are diagrams for component systems that connect from point to point - so you will need to trace the wires through their components. Bentley has the same diagrams as Porsche (for the most part) or you can buy each diagram from Porsche PIWIS TSI for about $1.80 each. (Porsche PIWIS TSI requires an account and an account balance to purchase diagrams and other Porsche documents).
  9. :welcome: Please do a search here -- it sounds like you have a mechanical problem in the lock of the drivers door as well as an alarm system fault (2 beeps when locking).
  10. X50 mufflers are larger bore - the rest of the exhaust system is the same.
  11. I just did a PIWIS search and it came back "not found". So it has ether just been released or has not been released yet. Have you asked your local dealer for a printed copy?
  12. Looks to be clicks and spring clips... (click to enlarge)
  13. Just to be sure check the fuses too.. Sorry, you will need a PIWIS or PIWIS 2 to re-code the control module. Unfortunately this happens occasionally on 997-1 series cars.
  14. Unless there is a bad ground or other damage you may just need to re-program the front control module.
  15. Yes, both stage 1 (slow) and stage 2 fans (hi speed) run at the same time on both sides. Check your fuses and then you might have a bad ballast resistor on the passenger side.
  16. Are you selling these? If so please re-read the board Guidelines/Rules that you agreed to when you registered here.
