  1. The way your secondary air runs is normal. Perhaps there is a leak or there is blockage in the lines? I would treat the codes as they generally point to the causes.
  2. I'm not sure what manual you are using but the here are the values from the DME 5.2.2 Porsche manual -- and you are right on. (click to enlarge)
  3. Did this just happen after the side marker mod? If not, then I would suspect a worn-out headlight switch.
  4. http://www.renntech.org/forums/topic/46967-psm-workshop-failure/ http://www.renntech.org/forums/topic/44303-random-psm-failures-and-problems-please-help/ http://www.renntech.org/forums/topic/43646-another-psm-worshop-message/
  5. Yes that is a 5.3 ABS system. Could also be a issue with the Durametic software (a bug?). Make sure you have the latest version and/or check the car with a Porsche PST2, PIWIS, or PIWIS 2 tester.
  6. Please do a search here for (in the Boxster section) for "drain". You likely have one or more plugged drains. You really want to remedy this as the car's immobilizer is under the the seat and if it get wet the car will not start and replacement cost is high. Also, check the drain tube for the AC - it should drain out under the car not in it.
  7. Looks like a MY1999 to 2001 Porsche Carrera Cabriolet.
  8. P0441 Fuel tank ventilation system above/below limit value NOTE: Diagnosis of the tank vent’s permeability is performed by evaluating the force alteration when the tank vent is activated. Depending on the load of the active charcoal filter, the purge air contributes more or less to the formation of the mixture. This test is performed independently of the output stage diagnosis. Possible fault causes: - Tank vent faulty (stuck open or closed) - Tank vent installed back to front - Purge air line leaking - Purge air line trapped or blocked
  9. Tool Pants still drops by occasionally but most of his knowledge and tips are now handled by a great group of moderators. Our moderators have a combined experience of over 100 years tuning and repairing Porsches.
  10. to replace it, is the same way as written from Davet18 Yes, should be the same.
  11. No one was using for over 6 months - so I took it down (also saves some annual cost). If there is enough interest I can always add it back... Just let me know....
  12. Please just reply that it is SOLD when it is and a moderator will take care of it.
  13. You are going to have to get the door panel off to get access to the broken latch/lock.
  14. :welcome: Only Turbo clusters will have boost pressure - so yes, Turbo clusters only.
  15. As stated here before... you can only get IPAS codes from Porsche through a dealer/OPC. If a Porsche dealer/OPC does the work they have access - if a 3rd party shop does the work they will need you to get your IPAS codes from a dealer/OPC. These codes should be free - some dealers/OPCs may be reluctant to give them to you - if so then find another dealer/OPC. Protect the codes as they are what is needed to forge keys.
  16. 955 106 126 00 is the thermostat insert for the Cayenne V6 engine 948 106 125 01 is the thermostat insert for the Cayenne V8 engines You want the latter for your GTS.
  17. Replace what siren? relay carrier? please be more specific. Thanks.
  18. The only way to match the keeps to the car (immobilizer) is with a Porsche diagnostic tool (i.e. PST2. PIWIS, or PIWIS 2) and your car's IPAS codes.
  19. MY2001 was a change-over year - and some cars with anti-slip/lsd option also got 5.7 ABS. Best that you read the part number off the hydraulic unit in the front trunk. Report it here and I will look-up to see which version it is.
