  1. Also... sometimes the horn(s) just die. In that case you are looking at new horn(s).
  2. Check the chassis ground (brown wires) too.
  3. I don't see this in the 2013 tools list but I see one that looks a lot like it for the Panamera and the description reads "Use to position model designation on rear panel in conjunction with 9855." And there is a different one for almost every model.
  4. This one also shows up in PET as "template". I'll try doing more checking and see if I can get an updated Porsche Tools List.
  5. I would tape them (individually) well - just to be safe.
  6. Always check fuses with an ohm meter - it can and will save you a lot of time looking elsewhere.
  7. :welcome: It could also be a loose connector where the headlight plugs into the socket in the fender. We've seen that happen a number of times.
  8. I have removed your 3 duplicate posts - please post only once. If you did not use the method in the Lost Radio Code FAQ to find your correct serial number then please do so. If you did then... Try 2435
  9. In most states (especially California) there have to be enough drive cycles since the last (emissions) fault code. They force this on the manufacturers so that you can not reset the code - get a quick test that passes - then the fault codes on again. I have seen a Boxster take a week to come to "Ready" state - and that was with the owner driving to work 5 miles each day. I do not think there is any shortcut around this - and if there were the feds would like fix that too...
  10. Please use the instructions in the Lost Radio Code FAQ to get the correct serial number. Then post it here.
  11. Perhaps post a photo of what is missing in the luggage compartment? There are a lot of panels there and they will not be in-expensive. Item 1 in the under body panels: 997 504 527 02 Cover -- US MSRP $151.12 (C2 only) you may also need: 999 073 505 01 Self tapping screws -- US MSRP $0.44 each
  12. :welcome: Can you tell us the item numbers that you believe are missing? body under panels luggage compartment Your best pricing on original Porsche parts will likely be Sunset Porsche (http://sunsetporsche.com)
  13. It is not a cooling fan it is a purge fan and only comes on when certain criteria are met. See the image below (click on it to enlarge it) for the details of how it is triggered.
