  1. Sorry, that serial number is not coming up. Please check the serial number again.
  2. Big screen - center of the dash. Item 2 in this illustration.
  3. That unit was replaced by exchange units only in 2013. Order 996 642 205 X Navigation module US MSRP $984.18
  4. From the Lost Radio Code FAQ... "I get a WAIT on the display - what do I do? You have to wait at least 30 minutes before trying again."
  5. Always plug the fuel line after disconnecting it. Use a clean plug or clamped shut hose. Just plain good practice.
  6. Sometimes the magnet on the side of the shifter (normally glued in place) falls off and binds the shifter.
  7. No that is still a low number - most likely an accidental missed shift. Ranges 4-6 can cause engine damage but I don't see any signs of abuse in these numbers.
  8. The 6 ranges (for 997) are: Range 1 - 7200-7500 Range 2 - 7500-7700 Range 3 - 700-7900 Range 4 - 7900-8400 Range 5- 8400-9500 Range 6 - 9500 up You really don't need to worry about anything other than ranges 4 to 6.
  9. The parts image I posted is for a 2006 Cayenne (base). The Cayenne Turbo uses the same parts. Sorry, I am not sure what you have there.
  10. Has the coolant been replaced or topped up lately? If so, then you may have trapped air in the motor.
  11. Not sure which part you are missing - item 13 is called "cover" and goes on the outside of the wiper arm.
  12. Covers all Carrera (996), GT3, TT / GT2 and Boxster (986) cars Here is the long explanation from the service manual on the flashing coolant light. "Four functions of the coolant warning light: 1. Engine coolant level too low -- light flashes slowly (0.5 Hz) 2. Engine compartment temperature too high -- light flashes slowly (0.5 Hz) (engine compartment blower might be faulty) 3. Engine coolant temperature too high -- light is lit; pointer on the right 4. Temperature sensor at water outlet faulty -- light flashes rapidly (1 Hz) ; pointer on the right Note: The temperature warning in point three is indicated if the conditions "engine coolant temperature too high" and "engine coolant level too low" are present simultaneously."
  13. There is just a sealing washer around it and the electrical connection. When you pull the old one out washer fluid will leak out so push the new one in right away. Then transfer the electrical connector. Done.
  14. 955 628 105 00 Water level switch - US MSRP $22.10 (item 11)
  15. A bad tank sensor is fairly common.
  16. 997 361 980 07 Wheel bolt US MSRP $12.50 (each).
  17. I sent you the answers via PM.
