  1. You posted this three times but never read the Lost Radio Code FAQ... "Can you give me a code for my PCM? These units are manufactured jointly by Siemens and Becker, and the only place where you can get the codes required is from the dealer/OPC. The PCM’s require two codes, the ICS/Siemens code and a Becker code. The ICS is the first code requested. Sorry, the only place you can get a PCM code is from a dealer/OPC."
  2. If you switched from conventional lights to LEDs then you might need a resistor in the circuit to compensate for less power draw.
  3. The 997-1 engine uses many 996 (3.6 liter) engine parts - and yes, the water pumps are interchangeable. Very little difference between the 996 (3.6 liter) engine and the 997-1 (3.6 liter) engine. The 996 and 997-1 were both produced in MY2005 so if your car was a late 2004 car then a few 997-1 parts would not surprise me. In most cases the parts are en evolution and better quality or durability, or even better cost margins.

  5. 2014 Cayenne Diesel -- Curb weight: 4,795 lbs. (or 2.4 tons) That would be a little over 1/2 ton per wheel.

  7. Porsche maintenance books says: "Check drive belt at 40,000 mls, but no later than every 4 years -- replace any drive belt no later than 60,000 mls or 6 years"
  8. Sorry, I meant to add that is too. It should be checked at least yearly cracks or wear - replace it at signs of either.
  9. :welcome: The fuel filter is inside the fuel tank and should not need to be changed in normal operation. Brake fluid should be tested (for moisture content) and changed every two years.

  11. That happens on 4WD cars and more often on turbos. The cause is wheel slip that the system can not fully compensate for. I would only worry if they stay on after a re-start.
