  1. Without a doubt the most common cause of this fault. Nice work!
  2. I could not agree more with JFP. These vacuum concepts are fine in theory but end up being not practical or efficient.
  3. Sometimes map updates require firmware updates. The dealer should know that based on the maps you purchased. If no firmware needs updating then yes you can update the maps yourself.
  4. Per the Lost Radio Code FAQ... Which radios fitted to Porsche can have their unlock code recovered through serial number?- CR-220/CDR-220 - Becker- CR-210/CDR-210 - Becker- Traffic Pro NAV/CD - Becker
  5. Model of your radio (on the front panel) please...
  6. Yes, but programming may still be required. In my experience it has been about 50-50 with some cars ready to go from the factory and some not.
  7. Other instructions for key programming etc. can be found in the paper versions of the service manuals (17 volumes).
  8. You are likely going to have to open the door panel and inspect it find out. There is a microswitch in the door handle that tells the window to drop as you open the door. But a bad regulator can also cause the window not drop properly. The microswitch can be easily tested with an ohm meter once it is out of the circuit and most bad regulators show signs of wear or shredding of the cable. You won't know for sure until you remove the door panel and do the inspection.
  9. I have an archived copy - I will restore them.
  10. The original poster has deleted the images. You can try and send them a PM (private Message).
  11. Sorry, those documents were removed at the request of Porsche's legal team.
  12. But you are adding a CD Changer? If so, did you get the kit with all the connectors, mounting hardware, and cables. (click to enlarge images)
  13. I have deleted your two other duplicate posts. Start with fuse F2 (80A) (on the current distributor).
  14. The cable or cables you need will depend on the options your car has (i.e. radio or PCM, amp or no amp, cd-changer or no cd changer, telephone or no telephone). Programming may or may not be required. So which options do you have?
