  1. If they removed the wheel carrier (hub) then - yes. (This is the preferred method to press in the new bearing). If everything stayed on the car then - no.
  2. P0492 Secondary air injection system, bank 2 - below limit Possible fault cause: • Fuse F4 faulty • Open circuit to secondary air injection pump • Short circuit to ground in the lead to secondary air injection pump • Secondary air injection pump relay mechanically faulty • Secondary air valve sluggish • Secondary air injection pump (air cleaner) blocked • Air hose to secondary air injection pump slipped off or crushed • Secondary air injection pump faulty / stuck
  3. It might be just as easy to pick up one from a salvage yard. 996 and 997.1 are the same.
  4. There are only two hex bolts that need be removed. Chances are the o-ring is leaking and must be replaced. The housing gets a new o-ring and spray-on sealant. Do not over tighten the two hex bolts - 6 ftlb. max.
  5. The clutch slave cylinder bleeds through the brake reservoir. Follow the procedure for the 996 series cars (it is the same) for proper bleeding of the clutch slave. Optional Clutch Bleeding (near the end)
  6. Hmm... did someone upgrade the brakes to the 92A (2011 and later) brakes? Either way - yes, the calipers need to come off.
  7. The bar code means nothing to the radio code - did you use the procedure in the Lost Radio code FAQ to get the serial number to display on the screen?
  8. Did you use the procedure in the Lost Radio Code FAQ to get the correct serial number of your radio? If not, then please do so and report the correct serial number here.
  9. Did you use the procedure in the Lost Radio Code FAQ to get the correct serial number of your radio? If not, then please do so and report the correct serial number here.
  10. Yes, only a PIWIS can program keys. I would contact Porsche Cars North America on Monday at 1-800-767-7243. Explain your situation and ask them help.
  11. Did you use the procedure in the Lost Radio Code FAQ to get the correct serial number of your radio? If not, then please do so and report the correct serial number here.
  12. As a daily driver I would stick with the factory pads and rotors. Other pads may produce less dust but more noise and potentially more wear on the rotors. As I said for street use I would stick with the factory parts.
  13. I already replied to this....
