  1. Using the issue is with the selectors on the (outside) of the gearbox. Sometimes they are damaged and sometimes corroded. I would inspect and test before I would by new parts.
  2. I could not agree more. They redesigned the coolant tank to make it more resilient and in doing so they made it larger.
  3. The engine will need to be lowered a bit to get the old one out and the new one in.
  4. The battery may have shorted out and scrambled memory in multiple control units. You will likely need a shop with a PIWIS tester to re-program individual control modules.
  5. A weak battery or battery change can cause all kinds of weird fault codes. I would try clearing all the fault codes - then drive the car and see what comes back.

  7. Yes 996110 is a C2 LHD and 996111 is a C2 RHD (according to POSES).
