  1. The current coil packs are: 948 602 104 21. You are about 3 revs behind.
  2. It is best to run the Porsche diagnostics on the PSM using Durametric or Porsche PIWIS tester. Any number of faults could cause the issue you saw (i.e. dirt or faulty wheel speed sensor(s), steering angle sensor, booster pump, and yes even ab ad brake light switch).
  3. P0344 Camshaft Position Sensor "A" Circuit Intermittant Possible causes: - Camshaft rotor (phase sender wheel) damaged
  4. "ME Boxster Red Special Leather" is how it was ordered in the 2002 Order Guide for the whole car. "M30" is how individual parts are ordered.
  5. Send a PM to Porschelibrarian.
  6. You can try and get a Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche. Looks like the price went up to $110 plus shipping. Certificate of Authenticity request form.pdf
  7. In 2005 997 the factory "red" color was called Carrera Red. If it was a custom color then it could be anything.
  8. If measure each coils resistance (with an ohm meter) you may find one coil that is vastly different. That coil is likely the bad one.
  9. Yes, the all the 996 Mk1 lights were usable to MY01. The Mk2 came into production in My2002. Any of the early lights would work though most folks don't like the orange reflector on the very early models. I purchased Litronics to replace my lights (originals sold years ago) - and they were plugin replacements.
  10. M30 is the color code for the Boxster Red leather interior.
  11. UView 550000 Airlift Cooling System Leak Checker and Airlock Purge Tool Kit https://www.amazon.com/UView-550000-Airlift-Cooling-Checker/dp/B0002SRH5G/ref=as_sl_pc_tf_til?tag=renntechorg-20&linkCode=w00&linkId=NZD6UKIMDGEDHJ5J&creativeASIN=B0002SRH5G and yes, you will need an air compressor. Lot more you can do in the DIY world with a small air compressor...
  12. Of course, you mean M96 and M97 engines - since there is no M37 and M36). And Porsche's part list (PET) shows the same water pump for 996, 997-1 3.6 liter and 997-1 3.8 liter.
  13. They will when you tighten them down - and they bulge out like shown.
