  1. I think RFM is referring to binding in the linkage, not obstructions.
  2. You likely need to make sure the emergency cable is not still pulled out. And/or a little WD-40 on the latch mechanism - then work it back and forth.
  3. Illustration 810-11 in PET. I think item 7 is plastic or abs or ?
  4. Factory aerokit side skirts are held on with ten expansion rivets (N 909 275 01 -- MSRP $0.54 each)
  5. You can't buy just the electronic board from Porsche - they do not sell it that way. If you buy a used board from someone chances are you will have the same problem again - as the buttons do wear out. Porsche gives a two warranty on all parts.
  6. See the previous posts about using the Design Key head. Transfer your metal key blade and your immobilizer pill to the new key head and you are good to go. About $130 at your dealer.
  7. In general, you can not put wide body wheels on a narrow body car - they will not fit properly - and they are likely to give you handling problems. So they are correct these will not work on a narrow body car. Ask your dealer for the TSB that calls out approved wheels and tires for your model year car. You have a car that can hit 180 MPH - be safe and use the proper wheels and tires.
  8. That transmission should be fine in any model year Boxster S through MY2002. The S transmission changed in MY2003.
  9. Time to inspect the metal mounting housing for cracks or damage.
  10. Pelican Parts sell them - but the 0ne for the 996 is about $1200 US).
  11. I believe he travels for work and is sometimes gone two weeks.
  12. Sorry, I do know that model. What does the front of the radio say (i.e. CDR-22, CDR-220,etc.)?
  13. Do you need part numbers? or how to? Exact model and year of the car is always helpful - as well exactly which outlets.
