  1. Try sending him a PM - this post is 8 years old.
  2. Likely one of the horns. They are perhaps the cheapest horns Porsche could have used.
  3. You need to read the Lost Radio Code FAQ Try 8989
  4. Read the Lost Radio Code FAQ
  5. I think you will need some special tools and a PIWIS.
  6. Ah, that is the proper serial number. Try 1305
  7. I think that both levers just pry off. BTW... Porsche does not sell the individual parts just the whole assembly.
  8. In the current Porsche Parts list, only 999 170 228 90 is shown. So that would be the one to use.
  9. From the Guidelines/Rules, you agreed to when you registered here. "Copyrighted material:By registering here you agree not to post (or link to) any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or by this site. Repeat offenders will be banned from this site and their accounts, as well as the offending material, will be deleted." This topic is now closed.
  10. Exact model and year of your car would help...
  11. After 5 days the alarm system shuts down remote activation to save the battery. It is normal to have to unlock the car with a key after that 5 days. You should not hear beeps from the alarm system when arming or disarming. If you did have beeps then - one beep means one or more alarm zone(s) are open. Two beeps indicate there is an alarm fault that needs to be corrected. I would suggest cleaning both remotes and installing a new battery in each. Then give it a try.
